  1. 10R60 (not 10R80) 10-speed automatic transmission for 2021 Bronco [update: confirmed in Ford parts system]

I'd bet the engineers chose the 80 and the bean counters chose the 60. Which one it ended up with will tell you a lot about the other subtle decisions made in the final build of the vehicle.
  2. 10R60 (not 10R80) 10-speed automatic transmission for 2021 Bronco [update: confirmed in Ford parts system]

Bad publicity and complaints in numbers and it will change. Does the 60 not have ports for a remote cooler? Is that one of the car/truck differences between models?
  3. 18 days of May left...

At this point, if you don't get to see expected deadlines come and go with no discernable progress then you're not getting the full "Ford Bronco Experience".
  4. If Ford offered a 2DR Factory soft top for faster delivery, would you take it?

I'm glad the MIC 2-door is unavailable, I wanted the 22 painted top anyway. But I also have zero interest in the soft top as a primary.
  5. Official MPG figures: 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L fuel economy

One more reason to take that back seat out. Time to trim weight. :p
  6. Official MPG figures: 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L fuel economy

The 10 speed has like 3 overdrive gears. It shouldn't have been that hard.
  7. Official MPG figures: 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L fuel economy

If these are the official imaginarily good numbers, I might be giving those old gas guzzling V8's a run for their money when I put my foot into the fun pedal. At least it will have 400+ftlb of torque.
  8. Thank you Bronco 6G and shame on Ford

Or better yet, shame on all of us for not demanding and end to the whole dealership system. We'd be better off buying our vehicles from Ford, Amazon, or even ******* WalMart in most cases.
  9. Saw Bronco in person today..Kinda disappointed

I'm confused about how both of those things are true for you at the same time. Were you expecting Bronco to be a short Excursion? The H3 is basically just a Suburban with no consideration for aerodynamics.
  10. Ford Authority Posts Conflicting Articles about Bronco Production Potentially Disrupted By Chip Shortage

Pretty much. Made up nonsense today contradicts nonsense from a week ago.
  11. Best Bronco Model / Trim For Daily Driver?

Define "best". If it's not practical logical criteria that would steer you toward a Sport, then why bother asking? The Bronco is not a practical vehicle, and neither are the vast majority of vehicles being daily driven like full size trucks with 10k+ towing and a ton of hauling capacity ...
  12. Ford Dealers May Not Have New Inventory Until August

At this rate I might be getting the Superduty Tremor too then.
  13. trade in values exploding

I'm still hoping my car doesn't literally explode before the Bronco is available. Blew a hole in the exhaust a few weeks ago so it's extra classy now.
  14. Golf Clubs Bag test: they fit in 2021 Bronco 4-door cargo area! ⛳️

Now we need pics of some children in a dog crate back there. To estimate how well children or dogs may fit ... not just for fun.
  15. New Explorer Timberline. Could this be the "Green Color" for the 22 Bronco?

It's also almost as big as an Expedition. Not that Bronco is petite or anything, but the Explorer has really gotten bloated as it ages, just like most people.
  16. Steel and Aluminum body panels and construction

Most bodywork cost these days comes down to labor, not materials. That's why Ford has been designing their trucks with more quickly and easily removed panels. The last report I read actually said common repair costs were down compared to older steel part designs. I would expect the modularity...
  17. How good OR Bad, will the base Bronco be off-road without Sas and lockers?

It depends more on you and your willingness to apply force than it does on most of those parts. I've taken my 2wd car through snow, water etc. that people in big trucks and suvs turned away from. It will be no different between your base Bronco and a decked out Rubicon street queen.
  18. A word of warning to those who may not fully understand what they are getting into

To be fair on that point, Ford has cast a pretty wide net with their marketing and announcements. It's bound to bring in a bunch of people who aren't prepared for the reality of a SUV like the Bronco when they've been conditioned by the likes of very car like "SUV"'s like the Explorer.
