On wet pavement and tight turns in 4H, your tires will likely still slip and hop which relieves the binding that occurs that could otherwise damage parts if it were to happen instead on dry pavement. It's still best to be in 2H for those tight maneuvers, though. I also have the standard...
I felt the same way for a couple weeks, but I spend a bunch of time in the truck and on the highway as a daily driver and needed to quiet it down a bit. It's still louder and better tone than the factory suitcase muffler, but more subdued.
If you end up deciding it's too loud and raspy under part or full throttle or on the highway, you can also add a mid mount muffler like I did with this Borla Pro XS.
I bought this one on Amazon for $38. Currently sold out, but others that look the same are available. Works great and floods the back seat and cargo area with light.

The Nokian Outpost nAT is probably a good choice. I'm running a set now in 33", but haven't had them in the winter yet.
Here's a test comparing the Outpost nAT to a Nokian All season, all Weather, and their winter tire:
Borla Pro XS stainless universal muffler (2.5” center and offset outlet $107) and Red Rocks stainless muffler delete pipe ($80). Another $50 to get welded on at a local shop. Can also get a bolt on version of the Borla if you want to clamp it on instead. I have had it on for a few thousand miles...
I'm in Chicago, so not as much snow as western MI. I went with the newer Nokian Outpost nAT. This video does a great job comparing the 4 main types from Nokian: All Weather vs All Terrain vs Winter vs All Season in the snow, with charted results for handling, acceleration, and braking. Well...
The various trims and options make it fairly easy for folks to get what they want, and also avoid getting what they don't want (mostly). Sure, some would like a manual with the 2.7, or a 5.0 option, but we can't typically have everything.
For me, the Sasquatch package would've been wasted as...
Celebrating freedom today with... bronze and green? 🤪 Anyway, I just installed new rally style wheels from Tire Rack. Sport Terrain 17x8, 25mm offset, 23 lbs. Mounted with 285 70 17 Nokian Outpost nAT, 46 lbs. Really happy with the distinctive look, decent weight, and reasonable pricing. Oh...
Tip of the day for those that went with a lower offset wheel and need to adjust the spare spacers on the tailgate. You can buy new spacers, of course.
Or this 2' section of dishwasher/washing machine hose is $3.99 at Menards. Measure and cut off what you need, and it slides in snugly. 👍
I threw a set of the new Nokian Outpost nAT on 2 weeks ago in 285 70 17 . P rated so still "light" at 45 lbs. Good in the rain so far, and expect to be decent in snow with Nokians reputation. Aramid reinforced sidewalls are a plus, but I won't be rock crawling or tearing up trails. Agree with...
