Such a stupid law... I went with a Sto-n-sho so I could quickly remove it if needed. I have one of the two bolt bracket solutions but this is far more convenient to take on/off. I was suspect at first since it mounts on a single bolt, but have had zero issues with it so far...
Is that the Flex Era pocket kit? How do you like that and how does the wiring between the lows and everything on work? Been eyeballing that kit for quite a while...
I use the Rockworkx thumb screws and just screw them in until their hand snug. Even doing that sometimes I need to use a small screwdriver to get them started loosening up some. Never seen an issue.
Will definitely be following along on this as well. I worry about these types of mounts being stable enough to support multiple large lights.
What I'd really like to do is get a mount that holds a four or five light Gravity LED bar with my JCR hoop. Something like this would be pretty sick...
This is far more well thought out than the hammer approach I was considering taking. I love the idea o f the MLC even with the upfitters, but it hits the liner way too early. Now sitting on a shelf while I consider returning it or trying to modify it.
Flat storage option is pretty cool. Love the overall look of this and will definitely be keeping ADV in mind if/when I decide to go another route for the hard top.
I've got all the manufacturer specs. I was looking for some comparison pictures or video of those two bars specifically. I do appreciate it though and may hit you up when finally settle on one!
Mine is tight in the same two spots. Everywhere else they basically spin freely until they're tight. If I push in on the side a bit it helps some. I did the same and double checked that everything was aligned correctly, and it is. Been like that from the start on mine so just chalking it up to...
I'm not 100% certain, but based on my '16 F-150, my former '18 mustang and now my '22 Bronco I believe the speed limit data comes from the nav database or something similar. So, you'll only see it on roads that Ford (or whoever their nav vendor is) has speed limit data for. I live near Dulles...
Former(?) member @djp was selling them, but appears he's been banned. No idea on the details.
I have one of his tops though and it's pretty solid. I wish there was a better way to mount the front in general without going the velcro route that JTops offers, but this one does stay pretty tight...
I love them for me. I like the look, they're sturdy and while mine haven't taken any hits I have no doubt they would do their job for the level of off roading I would get into. That said, they do (like any other slider/step combo) ride pretty darn high. I don't require a step to get in and out...
Appears to be unavailable at the moment, but I put one of these on a tackform arm and it's worked great for me in the Bronco. I'm sure there are many similar options. Ran the USB-C cable to the forward power point on the dash. Holds pretty good for on road use, but I'm currently looking for a...
This is a weird issue and probably tracks back to a human mistake/omission somewhere. Sounds like the dealer is taking care of you at least, which is good news. My dealer has always been great with helping me, but that doesn't seem to be universal reading some of the posts on here.
Needed? Probably not, but I like to keep the Waze turn by turn directions up so I know what's coming, especially when I'm going somewhere I've never been. I keep mine on the right side of the steering wheel though. Actually want to get a more substantial mount. I'm using a Magsafe now, but want...
