Good stuff thanks. These are definitely on my radar. Wild to see (and hear!) the Braptor top out like then oscillate - I'm guessing due to live valve acting only on the compression circuit. To be fair though that was a pretty harsh hit
Great video, it was fun to watch both suspensions work through the whoops. The 8112s were very impressive at higher speeds. Would be interesting to see a comparison with the BRaptor; Do the 8112s bridge the gap a bit? I'm also curious know if the JCO affects slow speed max articulation when...
And the final mod (for now anyway) was a Sasquatch Spare Tire Carrier
With the 0mm offset wheels, the spare stuck out in an awkward way. The tire looked like it was hanging off the back as opposed to tucked up against. The sasquatch carrier is an inch shorter than the non-sas carrier. Not a huge...
@broncodreams you can try heading out to NF-7720 near Wilkeson https://www.trailsoffroad.com/US/washington/trails/3593-nf-7720

We did a similar thing last year - watched the sunset at Dead Horse Point State Park then headed down Long Canyon in the dark. Was a cool experience at night with the canyon walls on either side- ominous, almost claustrophobic feeling!
Took a similar photo too:

I love Moab...
Definitely check out the Eye of the Whale trail that's in Arches NP. It's flat, but sort of rugged. Make sure to stop and do the short walk to the whale arch - you'll have the whole thing to yourself.

Next up was a full PPF wrap (minus tailgate) with STEK. Over the last year, no matter how much I tried, I just couldn't bring myself to not care about the paint/clearcoat. The metallic in the Eruption green just looks too good in the sun to pinstripe it all up. A lot of the trails out here in WA...
Next up was a Ford ProCal Tune.
It made a nice little improvement in throttle response and acceleration and shifting is now smoother and quicker. It wasn't as pronounced as I expected, but the power delivery and shifting is very refined. I was happy it helped to negate the downsides of the...
Yup! PNW Broncos is a great group that is focused on actually getting out there and doing things.
Understood, I'll try to remember to post events here on the Bronco6g PNW Bronco Group page
It's a tool that is useful in some areas and can be a time-suck in others. It's all about how you use it.
Yup, it's always a question of 'want' versus 'need.' For me I don't have direct experience running a dedicated Mud Tire so we're kind of marching that way slowly: giving up a bit of on road manners to gain offroad abilities. Not sure what the sweet spot will end up being, but for right now, the...
Next mod: E-Stabilizer Bar Disconnect from the Badlands
When we were in Moab, I manually unbolted our sta-bar and was immediately impressed with the improvement offroad. The benefits of the disconnected bar were immediately apparent, even on mildly rough surfaces. The whole ride becomes...
We are truly lucky to have so many amazing places in our backyard!
For us, BB ATs all the way. I feel like we'd be giving up too much wet road and snow performance with the MT and I don't think we'll really need anything more aggressive. The BB AT was a big step up over the Toyo OC ATIII. This...
So after the Moab trip, my wife and I were even more excited about all things Bronco. Our gears were turning about going back next year and all the upgrades we wanted to make in the meantime. We bounced back and forth about a BRaptor and even eyed up a new Badlands to trade-in on. But ultimately...
