  1. Oil life remaining on app

For what it's worth, I had a Honda Ridgeline before I got my Bronco. It had a "maintenance minder" that would tell me when to do all of my maintenance, and I followed that. The dealership would always try to get me to change oil, diff fluid, etc. at traditional intervals. I just followed what...
  2. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

The accessory wire for the rear only runs to just behind the back seat on the passenger side, so the wire you see is attached to the factory accessory wire to extend it long enough to reach the wire on the loom. You'll still have to remove the driver's side quarter panel trim to run the power...
  3. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Here is a video I shot while I was doing the wiring. It's really just to show the layout of the harness. I cleaned up a lot of the wiring when I finished the install. I posted a video of the power wire run to the battery in an earlier post: Here is how the whole things looks and works when...
  4. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Damn, that was more work than I thought. Took me several hours including removing my tailgate table, cargo drawer, and all the interior trim pieces. But it’s done, and it works! The hard part is running all the wires behind the trim panels. The panels are easy enough to get off, but I have the...

Well, the gear I ordered from Amazon to finish the install didn’t arrive, now scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I won’t be able to work on it until Friday, so it’ll be a couple more days before I post a final install video. Note: You don’t really need more than what comes with the kit from AAL...
  6. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

This looks right to me. I have a dealer-installed hitch, and that grommet looks the same as where the wiring is run through for that. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/attachments/ford_oem_4-pin_fact_inst-pdf.350150/

I would think so, as long as the wire you run to the rear is large enough (large enough gauge). But, I’m no wiring expert. I can tell you that AAL’s customer service has been excellent, and I feel confident they could help you sort out the wiring for your whole setup.
  8. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

I’m almost done with the wiring, just waiting on an Amazon delivery with a few things to clean up the install - some Tesa tape to re-tape the looms, some butt splices, etc. The AAL loom makes things pretty easy, but since I have some extra options (Lux package, soft top, dealer tow package)...
  9. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

I’m still in the middle of wiring. I’ve only had a few minutes each day to work on it, but I should be done in the next day or two. I have a soft top with lux, so a couple things are different from the original instructions.
  10. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Per the AAL instruction sheet, "Take the long red 8 ga wire marked “FUSE” and begin the long run from the rear, along the lower rear cargo area and along the drivers side behind the previously removed panels and ultimately through the firewall." I'm going to try to get this installed by the end...
  11. Height of Hood with Struts installed

I have the Ford Performance hood struts. From the hook on the latch to the loop under the hood is 37.5 inches.

Yes, I will be. And I have the ARB engine bay mount I’ll be selling too. Message me if interested.
  13. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Just got the wiring loom. Here are the differences between the ARB supplied loom and the AAL version.

I thought about this too, but now that it’s in, it seems fine. The tailgate actually has a nice feel to it now with the extra weight, but time will tell. I think I saw somewhere that the tailgate could hold up to 130 lbs. I’m nowhere near that right now. I’m probably just under 100lbs right now...
  15. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

The power switch and pressure switch come with the compressor. AAL provides an air chock (with a different fitting than the standard chock), a small braided air hose, and fittings to fit their configuration.
  16. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

Agreed. I'd love for them to make one of their VersaTables for the Bronco. I asked them about it a few months ago, and they said they were working on it, but who knows. Judging by the way the compressor has to be maneuvered into the tailgate hump, you'd have to have a separate compressor mount...
  17. American Adventure Lab Tailgate Compressor Mount - Early Review

I'll be using a single hose setup, one tire at a time, on 285/70r17s. I'll do a time test. Harness is supposed to come on Thursday, so hoping to have everything running by the end of the weekend.
