  1. Mounting Roam Arc 270 to Trailrax

You definitely want some spacers in there if you can’t get the bracket flat against the awning. There will be a lot of movement without it which could cause the nuts to come loose or deformation to the bolts.
  2. Armadillo Designs Squareback Aluminum Hardtop

Very nice. Once I see some with roof racks I might place an order. Do you think the @Mountains2Metal flip down attic tray would fit back there?
  3. Ride Shocks

I have the same setup and agree with everything you said. Going fast, they feel great. But as soon as you slow down, they are way too stiff. Not sure if I can go to the lower weight range shock in the rear cause of the gear I run, so I’m wondering what the fix is. Let us know what you decide to do
  4. Tragic Halloween accident…..

I just watched that video of the dodgers fan playing with fireworks and I guess that’s scarred my brain cause I totally thought this was real at first šŸ˜‚ excellent job!
  5. New steering wheel from Carbontastic

After seeing this thread I decided to order one myself. Took almost exactly 10 weeks from order date. I did gloss carbon fiber, orange stripe and stitching, perforated leather on the sides, and smooth Napa leather on top and bottom. Overall I’m happy with how it turned out. There were a few...
  6. Let's see your roof-top Tents and camping setups!

I have them screwed into the roof rack, but noticed some vertical movement of the awning when going over bumps. The u-bolts just prevent the awning and mounting bracket from lifting off of the roof rack
  7. Wolfbox vs Acumen

I can answer this one well because I have the acumen legend and my dad has the wolf box. I chose the acumen legend because it had the built in switches. Comparing the two, the acumen is definitely more clear and works better at night. When I drove my dad’s raptor with the wolf box I thought...
  8. Let's see your roof-top Tents and camping setups!

I’m using these awning mounts: https://camplolo.com/products/eclipse-180-270-awning-spares?_pos=19&_sid=8d0b9fd71&_ss=r&variant=44128424689912 I had to drill an extra hole and secure them with a couple u-bolts. I’ll post some pictures when I get home
  9. Skid plate for rear lower trailing control arm

IAG is working on a heavier duty skid plate. I know because they sent them to me to try after I wrecked their original skid plates. Unfortunately, they were very long and interfered with my rock sliders so I had to send them back, but I would expect them to release more details soon. (Photos...
  10. What needs to be done to put on 37s?

It’s been discussed before, and a quick search wouldn’t hurt but basically: 1. depends on the tires (they’re not all 37ā€ exactly) and wheels (offset changes contact points) 2. Remove crash bars / crash bar delete 3. Body lift 4. Trim oem rock rails 5. Suspension lift at least 2ā€ And any...
  11. We BURNED OUR RIG DOWN! (Jk. But could have been bad). Fire extinguisher saves the day.

After this incident it was trimmed up, but when it melted it was tucked up against the side of the battery. You definitely don’t want to tuck it up on the side of the battery next to the engine as it gets quite hot there. And so many people on forums saying to just wire directly to battery...
  12. We BURNED OUR RIG DOWN! (Jk. But could have been bad). Fire extinguisher saves the day.

That really sucks, but I'm glad it’s not a total loss as I’ve enjoyed reading about your build. I had some loose winch wiring cause a short and almost started a fire. It was contacting the EGR exhaust tube right next to the battery. Might want to check that area to see if there’s any damage. I...
  13. Let's see your roof-top Tents and camping setups!

I asked them about that and they said that it is already coated for waterproofing/protection and didn’t give me any more recommendations. I was really concerned about the weight as well. Turns out once I upgraded my suspension to stiffer springs I can’t really tell the difference anymore. Idk...
  14. Let's see your roof-top Tents and camping setups!

it’s the aspen lite xl. I love that it is lightweight and the sleeping area is plenty big enough for two adults and two small dogs. I’m a side sleeper and the 3 in mattress wasn’t enough for me to lay comfortably so I added their cloud topper and it helps incredibly, but makes it difficult to...
  15. Water dripping from above transfer case

I ran a few errands this morning and when I returned home, I could hear liquid dropping, hitting metal, and then evaporating. Got underneath and noticed water was dripping from a wiring harness above the transfer case. See photos below. it wasn’t wet outside, but it was foggy and I did run the...
  16. Armadillo Aluminum Hardtop: 3000 Mile Review

I’m interested to see how these look with the roof racks. Anyone order one with their hard top?
  17. Molle panel configurations

I have the entire cargo setup from @Mountains2Metal
  18. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? šŸ‘ØšŸ»‍šŸ”§šŸ§°šŸšæšŸ›

I saw 109 on cruise control and at first thought that’s insane and I didn’t know it would let you cruise that fast, but then realized it was km šŸ˜‚
  19. American Adventure Lab VersaTable Max Tailgate Table

I really wanted that one but opted for the JCR. I’ll be out a few hundred, but after 1 year it’s started to rattle and fitment isn’t great. So I can justify the upgrade šŸ˜…
