Lots of discussion already around this. I mean, I'm not a huge fan of the technology, but my disdain has never reached the level of hatred it seems to generate amongst most folks.

I think the first step to Lincoln-ify it would be to make it a permanent metal roof. That would assist with interior comfort and would also set it apart from the Ford version.
It's a shame this has devolved into the typical MIC thread.
Ford is perfect.
I work at a dealer and I've never replaced a top.
Quit being so picky, you snowflake!
My top is fine, so you're top is fine, too.
I hate Ford.
For the most part, people that this has impacted are frustrated. A hard...
Thanks for putting the site together. I will fully admit saying I was in the "my top is fine" camp. Note the past tense. No vehicle is perfect, nor do I expect that they will be. I do, however, think a hard top shouldn't be considered a consumable and should have an expectation of long term...
Granted, I should also state mine does have quite a bit of snakeskin/honeycomb all over. I just looked at the GSB, and the honeycomb pattern pictured in that is prevalent on ever panel of my 2 door top. I've delayed bringing it in, just in case Ford decided to change up how they are replacing...
I thought maybe I had the rare good one that would stay intact. Not the case, washed it this weekend, and noticed several cracks on the leading edge of the side window for my 2 door. Garage kept, hand washed, no chemicals on hard top, etc.
Sad day, washed the Bronco today and noticed the first crack in the hard top. I hoped to escape the issue, but it definitely seems to be a when not if.
Ok, so one thing that has bothered me from day 1 is that I had a small clutch pedal squeak every time I pushed in the clutch. I became used to it, and then recently, it started getting worse. As I sat there, I moved my foot off the pedal, pushed down on the floor mat, and heard a squeak. Hmm...
The OP's vehicle is also a 2 door. @2023bronco, who posted picture of their delaminating hardtop, is also a 2 door. As a fellow 2 door owner, we aren't immune to MIC failures. No issues with mine yet, but I do not have any expectations that it will last the life of the vehicle. I have snakeskin...
Nice, congrats! My 2 door has been great, and I frequently have three people AND hockey goalie gear in it. I really like the longer doors of the 2 door, comfort wise.
Kind of an odd "warning" post for a vehicle that's come with these tires for the past 4 years. I also hear the windshields are prone to chips and the MIC sucks.
As far as cold/snow performance, I've found these less slide prone than the K02s I've had. For most of what I've thrown at it in wet...
You get some miles in! Mine just turned 22k. Granted, I bought my son an older Nissan Frontier 6 speed last year, and we’ve been driving that a bit, so the Bronco has gotten a bit of a break from hockey commuting duties.
I guess I incorrectly thought successful Lemon Law claims meant a full vehicle buy back/refund. I also thought (although certainly it depends on state) Lemon Laws usually pertained to a fix attempted on the same fault some number of times (three?).
So this Bronco hasn't been branded a Lemon...
