I have the ProComp/4WP,uca's and have been happy with them. But to be fair I got them stupid cheap at like $89 when they were liquidating the 4WP stuff. I think they might still be one of the better values even at whatever price they are now. Just make sure you grease them really really really...
I ran true 34s that were 10.5 wide and technically taller than the SAS goodyears with the Zone lift and no issues. This was with Badlands non-sas Bilsteins.
I had no idea synthetic oil changes were costing that much. I do my own with Mobil1 for about $40 to $45 depending on if it's on sale at walmart. Doesn't take me too long, and gives me a chance to get the mud and rocks out of my skid plates.
Yeah depending on what level of install difficulty you're looking for I would either recommend the Zone level like @Brian_B said, or personally I would go with the 1-in wild horses perch collar lift. Not sure if you have a winch on the front but either way I feel like it helps to stiffen the...
Gotcha. Makes sense!
And honestly I get what you mean. I installed a Pedal Commander yesterday and while I was trying it out I put it in sport+, +4 to see what the most aggressive setting felt like. The freaking thing peeled out while I was half throttle going around a traffic circle...
I got to be honest this is one of my favorite features about it, and took about a half a second to get used to it. Now I really miss it when I drive my Focus. Kind of reminds me of people complaining about hill start assist, the anti-stall feature that's even on my '12 Focus, and auto-rev matching.
Yep, like others have said, tons of advantages to the manual off-road. And also you're really doing work, rather than just the point and click of an auto.
And yeah I wheel the hell out of mine!
That's pretty wild you didn't see it as an option. Yes if you selected a V6 or sass it changed it to...
They really aren't ever necessary. I wheel the hell out of mine on 37's. Stock base rack and tie rods.
If you have the money and want extra insurance then sure go ahead. But people have broken upgraded racks and tie-rods as well so....
Edit: I should elaborate that I run stock tie-rods in...
If you search the forum you'll see that plenty of us have done it, including myself who has my two-door hardtop held up by just the two rear ones. However I have not reinstalled my hardtop after swapping to the soft top, so honestly I can't really say if there were or were not any issues.
But...
So the the skid plate on the RC hidden winch is known to be pretty vulnerable and get bent up easily. It's also not a real well made skid plate with very minimal coverage and two little winged pieces sort of that bolt on separately. Just not a very well thought through design. I mean it was...
Okay what if in doing that it takes them another week to put out the initial notification? Should they take that week? Or should they put something out as soon as they can?
Exactly! I've gone through this so many times and it's infuriating. Worst is the MK3/3.5 Focus. They tell them that the automatic has a clutch and you can shift it yourself and it makes the problem even worse.
I'm referencing using it while driving off road, as in the Mustang drift mode. As far as just parking, of course no issues just like our current e-brake.
Right because the Mustang is only rear wheel drive. In the Bronco you would have an issue with the front and rear wheels being connected while in four wheel drive. So much like the Focus RS, and Subarus and such, you have to disconnect the rear from the front or basically let the rear slip in...
Exactly!
People rag on Ford for so many recalls, the other manufacturers have just as many issues that they won't own up to or take care of their customers.
On one hand I think that's ridiculously stupid, on the other hand I'm completely not surprised.
Part of me wonders if that interface with a fake CLUTCH pedal/switch/whatever, could fix the problems with the DP6S focus transmission.
I'm not an expert with how they work, just with the symptoms...
