That would stink. Being able to turn sharper on a high(ish) traction surface - like rocks would be super helpful.
I recall something about "speed" and wheel cut being the the factors that determine when it's activated?
Removing driveshafts gets old fast when someone is recreationally towing. I have no interest in removing the driveshaft 50x per year.
If the transfer case has a neutral and it works properly and reliably then you should not need to remove the driveshafts.
Why would anyone buy a new vehicle...
I assume the the axles and sensor are Dana parts and not Jeep or Ford. If correct then Bronco will have same problem. I really don't want to be correct....
As it stands now the failing sensor on Jeeps cannot be purchased, so if it fails the only remedy is an entire axle swap. Another failure...
Will the Bronco have the same Dana 44 locker sensors as the Jeep? Seems like they are creating havoc for Jeeps. I see people complaining about the sensors and about the locker getting stuck in the "on" position due to some plunger sticking. I assume that Ford will have the same problem. Has...
WOW, does that include a better amp to drive all those speakers, a subwoofer amp, upgrade form the original 6 speakers?
The upgrade cost seems pretty high for $40 worth of speakers.
I towed a 2002 Ford 7.3 Excursion for a couple of thousand miles no problem. The biggest issues was having the remove the rear driveshaft because the transfer case can't be put in neutral. I'm pretty sure that thing weights in at over 9,000 lbs.

My experience is in rocks with a Jeep. I would go for 32/33" tires and dual lockers over 35-37" tires and just a rear locker. I'd even do 33" and front locker over 35" and rear locker. Also selectable locker in the front.
I don't believe that Ford will ship a truck with 37"+ tires and Dana 44 running gear. My guess is that such a truck would require 17" rim (minimum) to support larger brake rotors and would have axles with 35 splines as well as front and rear ring gears of at least 9".
The cost to get the...
@Granger Ford
On the B&P page I have your zip set up but they are showing a different dealer:
Even though the "Find a Dealer" tool shows you to be closest:
YES!
My Jeep is ~10" at the front axle with 33" tires and it's 18" at the center skid under the transfer case. If it had 30 tires then I would be at about 8.5".
If it were 10" from front to rear it would be WAY less capable (crappy break-over angle).
To that end, a better metric than just...
Breakover is basically related to ground clearance at the skids. All these items are important in different situations.
Not having things to hang you up under the rig is important in rocks. You can often "bump" things over front and rear diff or rear suspension components. The rear diff on my...
