Hi Granger. I placed a reservation with you on 3/20 to secure this deal.
Haven't heard anything -- which is no biggie. I don't expect a Bronco any time soon. Maybe a year?
Anyway, just wondering if I should expect to receive an email or something from your dealership when the time comes, or...
This is why I'm willing to travel ridiculous distances to purchase from a dealership that actually knows what it's doing, and will give me an excellent price. Traditional dealerships are just so horrible, and getting worse.
But there are some out there (5%?) that realize that there's a...
Wait, was the second Bronco for your wife, or were you planning on flipping it?
If the latter, now you're mad about the dealership flipping it instead?
I'm having a hard time feeling bad for the OP. On the "List of Dastardly Dealerships," this one ranks pretty low.
I don't say this as any kind of veiled insult to people who are super-excited about their Bronco orders. I get it 100%.
But, for me, I'm totally happy waiting. I currently have a 4Runner that drives great and meets my overlanding needs. I like it. Don't love it, but it's a nice, solid rig...
It's not new. Soul Red has been around for years, but you're right: it's the best red on the road. You can actually spot it coming from a long ways off, it's so unique and radiant.
Nobody -- not even the ultra-luxe brands -- has a better red right now. That's why Mazda charges $595 for it.
King Ranch models have one really nice thing going for them: beautiful real wood trim.
I hope the Heritage Edition will utilize richer, more nostalgic interior materials. Throwback seats finishes would be a great start.
The Lux package is way too expensive if you don't want the Bang & Olufsen. Sadly, we won't know whether we're getting Good B&O or Bad B&O until Bonco-specific reviews come in.
Take the Wrangler. The Alpine upgrade on the 2016 JK was brilliant. The "Alpine" system in the current JL is...
I'm gonna play devil's advocate here. You currently have one reservation that has been converted to an order -- rightly or wrongly (sounds like wrongly, which sucks).
Why should the California dealer convert a second one at this point? Are you going to buy both Broncos?
There are millions of Wranglers on the road, yet I can promise you that no one has made such a detailed diagram of the cargo area of one. That sketch is hardcore. Love it.
I'm honestly not sure if you're being serious here. Are you suggesting that Ford should have engineered the 2-door around your cooler? I mean, they added six inches of length versus a JL. It seems they did what they could to balance cargo capacity and maneuverability in the 2-door. Couldn't...
Meh. I've got a buddy who overlands with his wife and two kids in a 2-door JK, and it's got 6" less cargo length than this Bronco.
How does he do it? It's kind of a miracle that involves cargo nets on the ceiling. Nevertheless, I've run the entire Mojave Road with him and his family.
