@Mdozier do yourself a favor, when you purchase the lightbar, purchase the front cover for it also. The cover pretty much eliminates the howling noise while driving. Those roof bars are so annoying while driving without the cover.

Did you not read my whole post? I said by way of larger tires. It is referred to as the fulcrum point (axle hub) when you increase the distance of the fulcrum to ground by utilizing larger diameter tires, you inherently increase more stress on axles.
The simple fact is that when ever you raise the center point (axle hub) to ground clearance by way of larger diameter tires, you are most definitely creating more stress on your axles. Does not matter if the tire contact patch is the same from tire A to tire B.
