So I have a 2.7 built on 21224 and approaching 1700 miles…. Now I am going to be worried every time I start the Bronco. 🙄😫
Seriously, any preventive checking I can do to possibly head off a failure? Really like my Bronco and don’t want to have it sit for 6 months waiting on a new motor.
Serious part of my post: 1-piece please, I'm in the camp of running the soft-top from March - Oct (Texas) and a Hardtop the rest of the time.
Not-so-serious part of my post: This is what reading 19 pages has reminded me of....
I have the same grips and it’s a hard molded plastic. The feel is firm but comfortable. I actual fine myself hanging on to it when on longer drives. Definitely recommend.
It’s a side curtain airbag, intended to fire downward in front of the window not out. Besides, the plastic molding will push it out of the way when the bag deploys.
Seems about perfect. From the driver side you have the steering wheel to grab but the passenger side is a little tough to use the grab handle on the dash. This works perfect for my wife.
Would it be possible to add grab handles like these…
by mounting them two these two screws…
or is that a bad idea due to the side curtain airbags? I ask because my wife could use the assist to get in and the current handle doesn’t work well for leverage on the passenger side.
