FWIW, I had a Borla exhaust on my 2020 Rubicon and when driving through Nevada on my way to Wyoming, I started to smell something nasty. When I got to my destination and was able to inspect. The exhaust had melted the corner of the rear trunk compartment (similar to what is in the Bronco)...

Finally finished all my wiring and have tested it. I was able to get the C2Rs to play nice with the RV wiring by just adding more draw when the headlights are on. I did this by adding grill and bumper lights (low power mode) and with the help for a few diodes, have them come on with the tow...

Installed the PRO 30" over the weekend. These light bars are better than they should be for the money! I love how it doesn't extend past the bumper.

There might be some states that do not require it. I used to do it with my 2005 Rubicon LJ before I knew it was a law. Unfortunately, Ford isn't saying to make sure you keep your battery charged and you will be safe, they are saying to pull the fuses and leaving no gray area. You would think...

I agree that the 5 minute wait on both sides (connecting and disconnecting) might be the worst part. I remember having to hook up my Rubicon in a snow storm on the side of the road at 4:30am. It would have sucked if I had wait that extra 5 minutes. I do feel that disconnecting the battery...

FWIW I don't remember any of the clips on the Bronco looking like yours when doing that job. That being said, I wasn't looking that closely.
