Thanks for the quick reply and advice.
I'd encourage you to do the Forscan adjustments before doubling down on the Kicker 200.4. After adding new speakers to my base system and doing the Forscan changes, it's been night and day except for the lack of the low end which I'm hoping this solves...
Fantastic write-up.
I'm in the process of upgrading my 6 speaker to add the OEM sub box plus the Kicker 500.1 and Kicker sub. Couple questions for you...
1) What was the wire path for running power to the battery and where did you go through the firewall?
2) Where did you run the ground for...
The enclosure itself has this part number: m2dz-18808-h
It includes the enclosure, the speaker (garbage), and enclosure wire harness. I bought mine from a forum member who posted it up in this sub section.
Here are some googled options:

I'm adding a factory sub enclosure to my base system using an aftermarket amp (Kicker 500.1).
I'd like to to reuse the OEM sub enclosure harness. So, I need the harness that runs from the sub enclosure to the OEM amp (which I'll modify). Has a green plug on the sub enclosure end.
Hoping...
Thanks, all, for contributing info in this thread. I'm adding a factory sub enclosure to a base system, replacing the 8" sub and powering it with a Kicker 500.1. I'd like to reuse the factory sub enclosure harness since it is routed and padded well to avoid rattles. The grommet also keeps the...
Great solution. Anyone have a CAD or any dimensional drawing for the steel plate? My 5 yo needs this and researching b pillar handles helped me find this.
This seems important but I can’t decipher what you said about gain
This seems important but I can’t decipher what you said about gain limitations. Can you restate that a little more coherently or can someone translate?
Many thanks.

I grew up in Wisconsin so this is meh. Still no fun to be outside in though. Sledding and skiing will have to wait. Driving in the Bronco felt like any typical Tuesday. Love this thing!
I'm a big fan of the painted center console on the Bronco and think there's little argument against it working well with some of the subtler colors. With the other interior accent colors, I'm waffling on whether or not it's too much for brighter colors.
I had the exact same problem with the toggle latches falling apart too. They need to use better toggle latches and be sure all the fasteners are torqued.
I installed mine today @Mabett
the clasp hardware that holds the table closed is trash and pops loose when closing the gate.
Also many of the small attachment screws holding the hinges, clasps and retention arms were not fully fastened. So it rattled terribly until i discovered this and had to...
