  1. Icon 2.5 adjustable coilover install (Self Squatch)

you would think they would work through this beforehand. Baffles me.
  2. Icon 2.5 adjustable coilover install (Self Squatch)

I need to play a little more I think my fronts are in contact with the spring in one place. I’m not sure how much it matters. I really had to adjust the rears. The installers were a little baffled by it it seems.
  3. Icon 2.5 adjustable coilover install (Self Squatch)

*looks like Ridge Grapplers (not Trail) Looks good, I just did the same thing on my 2Dr A51 Badsquatch. I don’t rub tie rods (had them put some extra castor in the alignment) but because of how low their spring cup is, there is no room for any type of tie rod brace. They are sending me a new...
  4. Are G.O.A.T. modes a gimmick?

Well one thing it does: It is a way to get around regulations like not being able to have the front camera active on road. When you go into the off road goat mode they are able to do the camera display because you are telling the vehicle you are off-road ...
  5. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

While I wouldn't call it a "defect" I would call it a HUGE design miss. If this design miss or flaw was known before launch (and how could you not know about the tie rod issues if you have been a part of this community) and that is not disclosed (you have compatibility stated for tires) and you...
  6. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Adding castor will help. I don’t remember the specs off the top of my head. I think we couldn’t quite get it to 5 degrees (don’t quote me) but the more the merrier. Castor specs are normally pretty wide range. Just make sure you at the top of the range.
  7. ICON Front & Rear Coilovers for Bronco

Turn the wheel to full lock and compress
  8. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

So this was previously known but not disclosed so that people would still purchase? This is not a good look with the cost of these systems. what the timing of interim fix? A lot of us have trips planed and frankly my vehicle has less ability and confidence than it did last week before this was...
  9. ICON Front & Rear Coilovers for Bronco

what are you doing for tie rod bracing? Check you tie rod clearance. Lots of people in the other thread are having issues myself included.
  10. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Damn that is one of the narrowest sleeves I have seen. Doesn’t give a lot of hope for a solution…
  11. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Interesting, now at compression mine was moving away from the coil. I could almost keep mine on but I need to grind them. I did take a shaving out of my springs… it possibly could work with adjustments or a spacer that was posted above but the fact Icon didn’t think this through… or test or...
  12. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Stock UCAs and no alignment? Yikes…
  13. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

@Dusty at ICON this is going to become an issue. The answer of “we are not compatible with everything aftermarket”is not acceptable in this instance. Because realistically for tie rod reenforcment, you should say “we are not compatible with anything.” Those are a much needed accessory for these...
  14. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

How are you at full compression? Do you have a swaybar disconnect? A shock is a shock? You can definitely design how far down the spring cup comes. Having zero solutions for the tie rod is a serious miss. Unfortunately I’m thinking at this point the heim joint Ones are the only option but...
  15. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

How are you at full compression? Do you have a swaybar disconnect?
  16. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

@Dusty at ICON what are y’all doing for tie rod reenforcement? Anything compatible? The spring cup is so low that even some sleeves are not compatible nevermind the splints.
  17. Brians Big Bad 2dr Badlands.....Carbonized on 37" Icon Wheels & Fabtech 2.5 Coilovers

thanks, I have a set of icons going on next week. Not the biggest fan of going over 2.5 inches but definitely don’t want to go over three. The two doors have less weight and therefore get a higher lift. Might have to play with the preload. Normally people do that to get more height, I want to...
