You don’t HAVE to pay that. One of the dealers near me with hundreds of reservations is marking the Bronco up $5k over MSRP and I’m sure 80% of their customers will blindly pay it! You’re in the right place, plenty of fair deals shared here!
It's only a $300 difference in the US, but if the Mid-package is giving some trims an automatic transmission without paying for it, then you might save even more with that option!
Can anyone do reverse math on this? 96 miles til empty on a 2DR with 1/4 left in a 16.9 gallon tank. What is that? Like 22ish MPG?

bad math by me.
If you compare the timeline to Bronco Sport launch. A massive information dump including MPG specifics, ratings, reviews, dealer tours, etc. came in mid-late October. Just days before VINS were assigned and job one in Mexico.
Not sure that would help the dealer. It’s confirmed if they don’t deliver the Bronco to their original order placer they are penalized through allocation. So if you reserve two, they’ll be penalized for the second one you don’t take. Hence some dealers will have higher deposits.
If you compare it to Jeep, there are rarely ANY base (especially manual) new Wranglers readily available. They don’t come off the line as often because they don’t make a reasonable amount of profit for the dealer or carmaker. Get it while you can because they probably won’t be ordered by the...
I'm super curious what the "penalty" is as well. Most businesses can factor ANY "monetary penalty" into the cost when they sell something. See the VW "penalty" for lying about EPA regulations, they still made off with profit. If it's an allocation or delivery penalty then it bears a little more...
Before I joined the TX Buyer's Group, I was originally reserved at Jordan Ford in San Antonio, TX. Nothing above MSRP, but no word on ADM or specifics yet.
I was on the call. It’s not that Bronco isn’t a priority, it’s that the company goal isn’t just the one model. EV and globalization is why Ford has fallen behind, barely in the top ten automakers. They need to focus on those aspects or they will never make an impact anywhere outside of the US...
