^^^^^^^There's your problem right there. Listening to what people tell you "you need" on B6G. Hard pass for me on that.
So just to talk you off the ledge a bit, either rig will probably far exceed your needs. Levittown? Birthplace of the modern suburb? I know its Long Island and what...
I will chime in here seeing as we are so close in stature. 6'6". 330 lbs. for me No problem fitting in my Moar Door Badlands with the soft top. Not sure I could run one of the Bimini tops, as my head might scrape against that, but that is not an issue for me. I think I have the seat height...
^^^^^^ This has me excited for sure. I am really looking forward to this. Taking my much- adjusted/window rattly Badlands into the dealer next week for an oil change and other minor work. I will have them note this. for sure. Thanks for the heads up.

I just ordered my set. Agree with everything said above about the apparent ease of installation of this over the IAG and also, the fact that it will work with the factory dome light switch.
Now I just gotta wait until they arrive and I have time to put them in.
Like @Dog says, pics or it didn't happen. LOL. Looking forward to seeing your new ride. Don't tell anyone on here you only had to wait a week. That won't go over well.
An informative, well thought out and reasonably presented argument. Are you sure you didn't mean to post this somewhere else? B6G is no place for such things. LOL.
OP, just curious as to what makes you think that if Ford sold parts direct, they would sell those parts below MSRP? Maybe they would, but I think it is a bit of a stretch to assume so.
Just my 2 cents.
If you pass on this, and wait for the next one, the MSRP of that same build will likely be $1k higher. The rate of increase in Bronco MSRP has been astounding. I paid $5k over MSRP for my badlands a little less than one year ago. The price I paid is now MSRP of my build.,
Just sayin.....
