  1. Mounting a Waterport on a Pak Rax panel off a Trail Rax roof rack?

I had a WaterPORT, but switched to a using a Rotopax with an electric water pump. Note: It isn't high pressure water, but great for filling up a bottle or cup. Dometic has a solution as well.
  2. Show me your 18's. Calling all mall crawlers?

18s are totally fine. My last rig was on 18s. Obviously the smaller diameter the wheel, the better for offroad. Now-a-days 17s are by far the most popular size, with a ton of different tire options. Tire size and tire options are crucial. BUTTTT There are some great tall and skinny 18"...
  3. Big bend to look like sasquached

Smaller numbered gears are actually stronger. *Not taking into account M190 vs M210
  4. Big bend to look like sasquached

It's not about breaking anything. It's about rpm range changing due to the increased tire diameter, putting the drivetrain out of its optimal zone.
  5. Rock Jock Rear Sway Bar Kit released for Bronco

How do you like the rear Anti rock?
  6. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Those are the Rotopax Lockable mounts. The rack is TrailRax Pak Rax. Directly bolted the Rotopax mount to the side panel.
  7. Non-sas suspension upgrades?

My 6100s ride amazing both on and offroad. Toyota Tacoma Bilstein 5100s win. Toyota Tacoma Bilstein 8100s win. Fox 2.5s were worse than stock on the Tacoma... Their test with the 6100/6112s is coming soon.
  8. Actually disconnecting the sway bar (have you done it?)

Antirock is the way to go. Removing the interference from the sway bar isn't the complete answer. Tire load balance is very important. Both side to side and front to rear. When you remove the front bar, the driver and passenger side is obviously no longer connected, so they will do whatever...
  9. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

4 gallon Rotopax is on! I know Rotopax are infamous in the offroad community, but for me this is exactly what I needed and it fits very well. The big thing is, you have to vent them at least once a day if they are sitting out in the sun. You also have to vent them for each 1,000 feet of...
  10. Big bend to look like sasquached

34s are really nice for 4.27. 33s are great for 3.73s, not terrible for 4.27s. In my build thread somewhere I ran all of the calculations.
  11. Mods to Increase Fuel Economy ?

2.3 and 2.7l are rated at the same combined fuel economy when all else is the same, gearing, tire size, lift, etc. 2.7l has to work less than the 2.3l. Both are great engines.
  12. Aonarch’s 2023 Bronco Build

4 gallon Rotopax is on! I know Rotopax are infamous in the offroad community, but for me this is exactly what I needed and it fits very well. The big thing is, you have to vent them at least once a day if they are sitting out in the sun. You also have to vent them for each 1,000 feet of...
  13. Check 4x4 - Service Soon

Which is great, because my last Jeep defaulted to 2H, which happened to me after a speed sensor failed while wheeling.
  14. Disappointing RCI roof rack…

    My TrailRax is great.
  15. Headed to Yellowstone

Nice I live about 30 minutes north of the park. It's a great place. The bugs are no joke around the rivers here.
  16. Front end clunking sound after lift

That lift height is going to kill components as you are now experiencing. My advice is to remove the lift. 2.5" over BASE is safe Ford absolutely will not warranty that, nor should they.
  17. Suspension Upgrade Input

Probably. Your springs should have the part number on them. You can use the Cook Book to see which ones they are.
  18. Suspension Upgrade Input

If you are rock crawling go for it. I'm happy with the rock Anti rock and rear OEM sway bar.
  19. Mods are eating up my payload capacity

You cannot increase your payload. You need to add lightness. Other members have already covered it, remove all of your heavy junk. You aren't bashing into rocks, why the heavy bumpers? Get lighter wheels and tires. Delete your spare and carry plug kit. Remove your rear seats. I've got...
  20. How is everyone securing or mounting their portable power?

The Bluetti AC70 ended up fitting well behind the passenger seat on the floor board. You can barely see it in this picture.
