Shhhh… been eyeballing the Ranger Raptor and at $57K (fully loaded) it is a great deal in today’s market, won’t last though ADM and demand is going to drive the price up just like the Bronco, IMO anyways…
Feel for you - nothing worse than a negligent driver swerving/not paying attention (and most of time in a beater) on side of road and kicking up debris onto your vehicle…very irritating! I live in a rural agricultural area and this happens a lot! Pays to just hang back until you can...
Your issue sounds a lot like when my 2013 platinum SCREW 4x4 had an issue with an IWE vacuum leak that resulted in the truck tying to engage 4L at 55mph…made a hell of a racket, grinding/squealing, sounded like a front wheel had come off and I was driving on the rotor…good luck!
1200mi. 1st change then every 5-6k mi. Forced induction engines (turbos) work hard with (likely) more combustion gasses getting into oil via blow-by than N/A engines. Plus the turbos being oil cooled, could be overkill, but ”cheap insurance” in my book.
I’ve also noticed the “Parade of Faults” on a couple of occasions after not driving my Bronco for as little as 3 days. All cleared after a few minutes of driving. Bronco is parked locked in an enclosed garage and not subject to severe temp swings. I get the “External accessories not...
Installation was straightforward and not hard at all. No drilling and instructions are fairly clear. I’ve had the RLT hood struts on 4 of my vehicles over the years and never had an issue.
Good Luck, nice improvement over the antiquated prop rod…
Yep, great place to start, Red Line tuning makes a great set that raises your hood an additional eight inches over the oem hood prop. Check out all the Mabett mods via Amazon like the two tiered console organizer, defroster vent inserts (to keep stuff from falling down into the dash), overhead...
Crazy to crush w/o salvaging usable parts first, wondering if it was a publicity stunt or an insurance requirement of some sort…although you’d think an insurance company would want to reduce loss by salvaging everything they could?
First, congrats on the 6112s, going to be a huge improvement over the stock Hitachi coilovers. I too was coming from anon-SAS OBX.
1) As far as I know they are still accurate; however, check with your seller just to be sure.
2) Mine settled around 1/2 inch. This is consistent with what my...
Yep, used these as well and they actually work better than the original “split” design fasteners as the part that plugs into the metal hole is a single piece not subject to breaking off like the flanges on the original fasteners. Despite trying to separate the original fasteners when removing -...
Nice ride sir and thanks for joining, good to have folks from other countries here on the forum👍. Curious, what differences are there between a Bronco here in the US vs in Germany?
