Glad youāre OK, most important thingš Iād push for it being totaled as the damage looks fairly significant and (personally) I wouldnāt want to keep a vehicle with such a significant rebuild, never the same. Had a 2005 F-150 (12k miles)that had front end damage and never drove the same. Turns...
Probably just me, but one of my favorite things to do with my Bronco is to drive topless! At city speeds it is great with top off, windows down and tunes blaring. At freeway speeds with windows up the wind flows over the top and out the back. Iāve owned several convertibles over the years...
FWIW, my ambient lighting hasnāt been consistent since picking up the Bronco last July. Many times it will revert to the lowest setting necessitating a reset. No idea why this is happening and since I donāt do a lot of nighttime driving I havenāt really worried about itā¦please post if you...
Awesome experience and thank you for sharingā¦spent lots of time in Tahoe in my youth and thank you for helping me realize I need to get back there! My brother had a condo on the Kingsbury Grade near the (IIRC) Stagecoach Gondola lift for Heavenly Valleyā¦we skied, did MTBs down the grade into...
FWIW, I upgraded from a non-SAS Hibachi suspension. So I went with Bilstein 6112s (wanted to upgrade from the soft Hibachi springs). In my case the improvement was amazing, seriously reduced brake dive and suspension āwallowāā¦definitely a firmer, more controlled - but not harsh ride. Good luck!
FWIW, when I upgraded at 4k mi., from OBX non-SAS to 6112s w/35s, my initial driving impression was very similar, felt like I needed a bit more pedal pressure to stop and felt as if stopping distance had increased a bit. Chalked it up to heavier wheel/tire combo and donāt notice it anymore...
Given the damage is not right in your line-of-sight and our windshields upright position, (meaning more chips to come), Iād wait for more serious damage down the road. Repair it, and take satisfaction knowing that you have a āroad testedā windshield you donāt have to worry aboutš
Ok, so in over my head here and need someone to school me. I've been looking into installing the Hellwig rear sway bar on my 23 non-SAS OBX. I have an approx 2" lift installed (Bilstein 6112) with 35s. I've been speaking with the Hellwig engineer and we did determine that I have both the...
Mine came with a template for mounting, lined up perfectly. Also agree with others, not a fan of the Bronco āsportā script as well as needing to remove the oem sticker badgeā¦looks too cluttered with both script and oem sticker badgeā¦just my .02 of course, your Bronco, your choiceš
My tire guy did say the K02ās were sometimes more out of balance than other brands, still was hard to believe that all 5 would use so much weightā¦suspected it might be partially the OEM wheels. Thanks for your feedback.
Nice set up, off topic but which tailgate table and molle bags are you using? About to pull the trigger on same set up and yours look clean, thxš
Oh, are you happy with quality fit & finish?
