Wow! I hope my service tech doesn’t spit in my engine… Obviously kidding, but I want to make it clear I’ve had a very good relationship with my dealer and do not expect any shenanigans.

Has anyone asked their service department if swapping in a 2.3 is an option? I'm sure there are a ton of differences, but if it's a possibility maybe @Ford Motor Company could offer it as an option.

Keep us posted on your timeline. My ford rep is saying no ETA on parts. It’s been escalated, but my guess is they are doing some engineering changes as mentioned previously. Also, be sure to get on @Lucchese list of blown motors.

So far it appears the 2.7 builds from June - August (6k units?) are the ones that are in question. 25/6000 is probably a more accurate percentage. Anyone have the real numbers for units sold in that period?
