My main job is warranty, if they identified the actual number of the problem vehicles then they could remove the recall from those that would not need it. The usually put out a number then modify it once more manufacturing information is available.

In Minnesota its like that. When doing a repair, the insurance company can select aftermarket as opposed to OEM parts to save money. You have to decide if you want OEM or aftermarket parts for the repair. Aftermarket parts are not always upgrades and could be cheaper alternatives of OEM parts.

Lots of good comments here. With a soft top I would like a tool less option for attaching and removing the cross members. I rather not have to grab tools to accomplish this for ease of putting the top on and off. Also multiple locations for lights.
