I was thinking traction control cutting power as well. Mine is pretty loosey goosey though. Lets me slide it around quite a bit. May be different with the auto.
Manufacturers can also just ignore issues and not issue recalls. At least Ford issues recalls so they can tape up your shocks and fill your spare tire with concrete, or whatever they do š
No. There are different ways to do it. Ford will give you their official procedure but shortcuts can be taken. I unbolted the lower control arm from the frame. It gives you enough room to pull down the lower arm to get everything done. Just mark the eccentric bolts to get your alignment close...
Itās opening the throttle body more. Just a change in throttle mapping, not actually increasing power. Your right foot doesnāt really control the throttle body in modern vehicles. The ECM does.
The 6112 kit comes with springs and hardware and can be had new for $1,500 or less from some vendors. Not knocking the OME kit. Just pointing it out.
I also think the yellow color is giving some of us PTSD from stock yellow bilstein reservoirs uninstalling themselves. š
They sure did. I did this swap on my 22 Badlands. Had to get new upper nuts. I believe the 23 and up Bilsteins use the same studs as the HOSS 3.0 Fox assemblies.
Damn it, Ford. I wanted to unload this yellow junk! š
I didnāt know there were so many financial advisors on here. Iām firing mine and will be posting here from now on.
