I completely agree. Ordering several in hopes of getting one will just add to the problem. The same human reaction caused the toilet paper shortage a few years ago. The very least Ford should do is make new 2023 orders require a large deposit.

This is a perfect example of what's wrong with how Ford's doing this. Your neighbor waited 2 months and just got notified and I've been waiting for the exact same vehicle for over a year now and haven't hear a thing yet. They're simply choosing short term profits over long term relationships.

I'd get that in writing, that they'll charge you 30k if you don't sign, then I'd sign and do whatever I wanted as far as reselling. If they tried to enforce it you'd win because of the threat. What a huge load of crap these dealers are pulling. Where does it end. Good luck.

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT...... I read most but not all of these posts and it's one phrase I haven't seen typed yet. Between Ford not honoring the price at the time of the reservation and dealer ADM it seems like they're one aggressive lawyer away from a big headache and some really bad publicity.
