  1. Quicker door removal and installation?

Has anyone come up with an improvement or modification for how to remove and install the Bronco door? It's certainly not bad but this is one place I think Jeep has the Bronco beat because on the Jeep they just lift off and on. I'm thinking of using a sharpened bolt for the bottom hinge that...
  2. Carbonized Grey, powder coat color??

Weston Grey from Prismatic powder is a match to Carbonized Grey. I got several samples from them and matched it up.
  3. Carbonized Grey, powder coat color??

I finally got my base model. Added BD wheels powder coated body color with BFG 285/75/17
  4. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

The noise is about as I expected it to be. It's not a car or standard SUV so expect it to be a bit louder. Mine came with sound deadening but that may be an added cost now. Personally I don't see a need for any of the GOAT options except the normal 2 wheel drive/ 4 wheel high and 4 wheel low. I...
  5. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

I considered skinnier but wanted the bigger and wider tires on the steelies. The stock 16" are only 7" wide whereas the BD wheels are 7.5 allowing for a wider tire and proper fit. Actually, although the 255/85/16's fit on the stock 16" wheels I think they're a bit wider than recommended for the...
  6. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

Very true. The price protection was the least Ford could do but it also was unexpected to have such high inflation when they announced it I'm sure
  7. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

The 285/75/17's are good. No rubbing except at one extreme it rubbed once so far. I haven't removed the crash guards but I might because it's so easy to do but then again one minor rub every now and then isn't a big deal so I'm undecided. thank you and good luck with yours
  8. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

Very true. I love my 77' but it's not really practical for anything except making me smile, which is enough for me to justify it. The base 2 door is a fairly practical vehicle. More practical than the 2 door Jeep which rides rougher and has less storage behind the seats. For a family and an only...
  9. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

Here's a pic of my other one. 77'. No aux switches on it either. Lol.
  10. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

I didn't recalibrate. All of my vehicles have bigger tires and not recalibrated and I haven't had an issue. It's only a couple MPH difference but I understand some people want it to read correctly.
  11. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

That'll be an aftermarket add on once mine ages a bit, but I agree with you. Personally I think every option should be al la cart individually.
  12. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

    Nice looking Bronco. Congrats.
  13. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

I think one size narrower than mine you could just run the base wheels ok. Nice color on your.
  14. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

Thx. Happy so far. Good luck with yours as well. J
  15. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

Personal preference, and how it'll be used. If it was an only vehicle I would have gotten a 4 door with auto and options. Good luck with your as well. thx
  16. Finally arrived. Seems like a lot for 35k

After a two year wait I finally received my base bronco yesterday. Base means base, as in not a single added factory item. Manual trans because I like my toys that way. I'd previously bought some BD take off wheels so I could fit bigger tires and I powder coated them carbonized grey because I...
