Yeah I wasn't happy when I replaced this exact same LCA 14 months ago. Even more annoyed that the new (Ford) one only lasted 30k miles. Need to see why it's going bad so quick. For now, took a needle and squirted some grease in the ball joint. Noise has stopped. But I will be replacing the...
13 months ago I replaced my front passenger lower control arm... yes, the ball joints are pressed in, and that's the easiest way to do it unless you have a heavy duty ball joint press. Anyways, I believe I paid around $400 for it (inside dealer cost). Well fast forward 13 months and that same...
Maybe it's something with the new model years, maybe Ford realized they were losing out on too much money from people doing the swaps themselves for a fraction of the cost. But people have been doing this swap without issue since the beginning.
December 2021 post
I could've sworn they were plug and play. Only thing I've heard of people having issues with were the Raptor headlights, but other then that, normal Signature lights were fine. @Ducati1098 would know better than us though what to look for to fix this. But if you search this site, you can...
Not a fan of the wheels or the grill. Knowing my luck, this will be the only model that they drop a Baby Godzilla in, price tag to start at $125k 🤦♂️
Ford needs to wake up and realize with all the price increases since launch, the Bronco is already over priced. So a high end model makes no...
Haven't sold it yet, have been thinking about hooking up to see if it helps with total volume... but when I had it installed, speakers were cracking around 22 on up. Now I can go to 30 without any issue.
If I decide to sell, I'll let you know. I think I need to try it out first to see if I...
If it were me, I'd purchase the JBL soundbar from eBay and then have a dealership do the JBL flash (assuming that works on all model year 6th gens). I've seen them anywhere from $178 on up. And personally, sounds way better after the flash than anything that can be done through Forscan.
The original JBL soundbar that was available back in 2021. I don't think it's the amplified one.
I also did the Kicker Key 200.4 amp before the soundbar, and have since taken that out as the soundbar with the flash the dealer does sounds better and louder than it did with the amp installed.
That's an interesting theory. I had thought about something along those lines but never modeled that either. Didn't want to take away from the wide angle lens, but wouldn't hurt to 3D print something and see how well it works.
Unless someone has access to some sort of equipment that could...
Yeah the only problem I have with that is... I'd be hitting the sprayer every 5 seconds on a 45 minute drive. I've already done Rain-X on the lens. It helps more than if I didn't have it on there. And it's not necessarily big rain drops that are the problem, it's the road spray from the rear...
The problem I see with that is, water is the problem. And when driving in the rain, or just on wet roads, the road spray is constant on the lens. So adding a sprayer won't actually help the situation. But yeah I had thought about that.
Here is my 30 second drawing showing the bracket from the side. Either bring a line up over the top of the bracket and point down to camera, or come around the side. Like I said, I have some ideas of what I think can be done, just haven't sat down long enough on the weekends to actually design...
Well, since you asked, how about a fan for the wolfbox rear camera so I can see out the back when it's raining? This fan is what I'm looking at, I just haven't had the time to design a box for it, and port to direct over the lens. I have thoughts of what it should look like, just need to find a...
V8.... and maybe work the TTB back into the mix. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the IFS. Give us a Full Size (F-150 based) version as well, though that one needs to only be 2 door.
Start with a Base. I don't know what can be done to a Base on a 2026, but still good place to start.
I got a BaseSquatch back in 2021 when you could get the V6 in it. I've seen plenty of people liking the 2.3l though, and my kid has a '24 Big Bend with the 2.3l. The normal 3.73 gears and it...
A handful of people did when Ford 1st made them available. I don't think back then they paid $7200, but you know how Ford likes their annual increases. Same old shit, just costs more now.
I'm pretty sure there were people on this forum that ran 315's on the stock wheels without spacers, just remove crash bars. If I remember correctly some didn't even have a lift, but that's just asking for trouble.
I don't believe you need the spacers, and personally, I'm not a fan of spacers...
