Allegedly. I need the service writer to verify this before I say for certain. I'm not holding my breath.
I believe it's no longer a mileage warranty, but a timed warranty.
New top showed up today.
As is tradition, the shipping container and load retention was sub par at best. Appeared to have rubbed the side of the top on the crate. Fortunately, no damage that I could see. The service department was kind enough to let me come in and inspect the top. It looks good...
I'm told my top should be in today, but unsure if ford will be able to supply the dealer or not.
I'm getting a rear clamshell and center section as well.
We will see what it looks like in comparison.
Yes. When we got this, there was NO irregularities on the top. This forum tipped me off on what to look for. This bulging has happened within the last month or so. Haven't had the top off in that time frame either.
I went to school with one of the techs in the local dealership. He and I swap tech info on vehicles when needed.
We were having this discussion when I went in. Walked out and looked at a few of their other broncos on the lot. There are a few that could qualify for warranty replacement as it...
Wife and I's 23 4d top finally started showing signs of delamination. Little under a year and a half from warranty start date and 22k miles. There are signs of craxking around the windows as well, but i waited to see what became a warrantable complaint first.
Who's had good luck with...
The Molle panels or the front locker. (Bonus for my insurance company) The collision avoidance system.
Trail turn assist is really nice for making a u-turn on a gravel road.
The sway bar disconnect is really nice for out checking cattle. Pop it into 4x4 and disconnect. Smoothest ride across...
Everyone's here worrying if their now discontinued model bronco is "worth more" now that you can't buy a new one. Meanwhile I'm over here waiting for ALL of them to depreciate in value enough to buy a second to daily.
These are mass production vehicles guys. There are still lots filled with...
Biggest takeaway from this for me is.... The 25 badlands will be what I get when it's time to add another bronco to the stable.
25 is likely to be the last pre-facelift year. The 25 badlands, (4d especially,) will have all the added bells and whistles on top of all the greatness of the Badlands.
Between a 1500 mile round trip, and inspecting progress on the pond that's being built on one of my families properties, we've been enjoying our Badlands!
It'd even been a point of interest for a friend or two of mine. I'm unsure if there'll be a forum member added, but a friend of mine is...
I should say, the brakes are fine in normal day to day events. They do happen to start fading pretty quick when in a stop/go situation. Thus my complaint.
Let me lead with this. My wife and I purchased this vehicle secondhand, so when you see the odometer, please understand we bought it in July with 16k. Anyway...
This past weekend my wife, mother, and I were invited to a wedding just west of Detroit Michigan. We live just east of Omaha. A one...
Having test drove both the 2.7 and 2.3 in a 4d base badlands. The 2.7 was impressive, the 2.3 is capable. These are SUV's not sports cars.
I've yet to have any gripes on daily driving performance from the 2.3
And I drive a terminator cobra with a built engine.
