They only have so many parts. They choose to put them in the newly built ones to keep the assembly lines moving and NOT to add to the dirt mountain problem. It' only looks like bad business if your at dirt mountain. Not to the folks that are taking delivery of their fresh Broncos.
Maybe but Consumer Reports list of engines most likely needing a rebuild include the 2.3 ecoboost.

I think it's called a union contract. Bad business would be to violate it. Throwing a few chips into dirt mountain just isn't going to keep the assembly line moving. Timing is everything. Defiantly sucks for the near built folks.
5db is very noticeable.
The maximum noise level you can be exposed to without having to worry about hearing damage or potential hearing loss is 70 decibels over a 24-hour period. 80 decibels is twice as loud as 70 dB and therefore considered potentially unsafe.

Also, it's a good thing L.A. traffic isn't moving well today, because stopping from 70 mph requires a lengthy 217 feet.

I don’t really know what you were trying to achieve with those tires. Probably a tough sidewall but they are a genuine performance killer at 72 pounds.
Sounds like a lot people are having tailgate problems. Under engineered just like the window rattling when partially down. How about the window indexing? You would think that Ford would be able to do doors and windows by now. Not a big confidents builder. This is definitely a vehicle of compromise.
That's a nice thought. The problem is Ford has built almost no Bronco's. Things change very slowly here. Expect mostly the same or wait a few years or more if you hope to get a reformed Bronco.
Yep. Never insinuated that you panicked. It's others that feel this engine is deficient I was referring to. I also think that 5 year 60,000 mile powertrain warranty is plenty of time for issues to show up.
Good luck with your new engine!
I get that some will die. Did you know that your odds of dying in a car crash this year is 1 in 8300 ?
I have empathy for you but this is hardly a time to panic about these engines.
What really sucks here is that Ford won't help with loaner and other expenses incurred.
That's the real issue...
No not at all. Catastrophic would be life altering. If that’s all it takes then maybe people shouldn’t be buying a Bronco. It’s not exactly a necessity.
Fact is that MOST people never use a extended warranty. Adding insult to injury, many will do mod’s to their Bronco and effectively void a...
No skin? Did anyone ever think that these wonderful discount dealers may have hurt all reservation holders by influencing Ford's decisions? Maybe you didn't have a reservation? Ok.
