I hear you on letting the QC issues get worked out. Still hard to deal with the long wait. I'm feeling like I'm '23 anyway at Chapman so I picked up another vehicle in the meantime.
That must have been tough seeing "your" truck roll in with the hardtop. Sounds like you might go aftermarket in the future if you wanted a hardtop? From what I've heard, the Ford top might be more than $2K.
Welcome to the forum. Lots of good information here, and some laughs, too. Hope you get your Bronco soon. But please don't complain if it takes awhile -- that's one way to set off the first-week guys who are still waiting.
@TommyBronco the shift effort is relative to your perception -- I'd find another 7MT Bronco owner here and try driving theirs, or in the odd event that your dealer has another one available to drive, give that a try.
I know removing these seem like a pain but I wanted to say congrats on getting your Bronco. You're going to have a lot of fun with it (once this is over). And I second the other poster who said low heat from a hair dryer. You'll find the sweet spot where you've heated the adhesive just enough...
Clay with some soapy water isn't abrasive, it skims across the surface pulling off contaminants (think of it more like a hand plane without the razor sharp edge).
Anyone else here ever try the Griots' synthetic clay? I was pretty happy with it the last time I used. I wasn't as worried about...
