I know it's apples to oranges, but there are many cars capable of 180mph+ available with soft tops. While the Bronco is not designed for that kind of speed (unless falling into the Grand Canyon), I'm confident it was designed to survive almost all of the conditions drivers will encounter on the...
There will always be "strain" on a clutch during any acceleration. I'm defining "strain" as resistance. If there were not, the clutch would not be able to transfer power (no resistance = slipping). In most scenarios, the strain is not enough to exceed the pressure between clutch plate and...
You know, we sell Dirt Mountain Survivor tees and hoodies, seems kind of appropriate for this guy who survived something that approximates a dirt mountain.

I know it likely won't make a difference, but if you talk to the dealer again, ask in what conditions you'd use 4A. If they say it's only off-road or during slippery conditions, ask what then is the difference between 4A and 4H. I'm curious what the dealers answer would be.
Yeah, it would be nice if they published these, or if there was a database where we could see this... sort of like on Amazon when it says "12 in stock... more expected soon"
That's great -- congrats on making progress. But you know, you were a part of the Bronco family even before this. Even those of us who have been waiting since summer 2020 are part of this family.
I originally ordered at Acton Ford since it's close by. But the Chapman below-invoice deal came along, and I switched my reservation to them. It really seems like my reservation (7/22/20) is still no where on the horizon. I ordered a 2-door Badlands with high package, so I've got some commodity...
Hmmm, that seems like a crappy situation. You have kids or friends in the backseat, go for a drive and then they can't get out without potentially scratching or chipping the paint on the bottom of the door.
How hard was it to scrap the build up off of the flare? Maybe try coating with a silicone spray? That trick works well for keeping plastic snow shovels free of build up.
I looked for a similar list a while back. I found this list on a Focus RS forum. I'm sure some of the info is outdated by now.

Right? The next question -- how long are they going to make him wait to get back on the road? I know when new vehicles are released, it takes a while to have spare parts in stock.
Man, this must be some distressing news to hear from the dealer. As @International_George mentioned, holiday shut down may be delaying the response. But if what the tech said is true, with all that internal damage (and the potential for PR headaches) I have to imagine your FE is getting a new...
I've driven convertibles for more than 30 years and something similar happened to me a long time ago with a TR6 I owned. I came out of a restaurant to find an elderly woman in the passenger seat. She said she was walking and got tired, so decided to have a seat. Unfortunately, she was not able...
Same curiosity here. Would want to know the vehicles, too. Manual transmission? And the OP mentions pads, but what about rotors?
Nonetheless, that is a fine display of mechanical sympathy. Treat those vehicles right!
