Ok the fenders are ugly but they look a little better with shadow black. I think this thing may look better with painted fenders, would need a PPF wrap to keep them from getting destroyed. Maybe have an unpainted set for when you wheel with it.
Ford forgot to put in the manual you have to squirt a little blinker fluid on the door connector when you take off the doors to prevent any random uncommanded braking.
This is really sad. Taking doors off is a feature of the vehicle. If it’s true that you must power off the vehicle before removing the doors, or you could end up with unsafe auto braking and codes, this just a lack of failure modes and effects analysis. Software should be able to deal with...
I’ve seen this before. With the current top you get 75% “open air experience” by flipping it all the way back, and you get access to the back since it pops up. You then get 90% open air by removing windows and folding back all the way, then 100% by removing with a few bolts.
this thing you...
You need to put a brace on your tie rods or replace it with an aftermarket, you’ll snap this weak factory ones in a heartbeat with that lift and those tires
Get him on liability. Go get checked out by a dr. If you were in the car and get treated. (Hope you’re ok if you or family were in the vehicle) Insurance could give up the whole policy to you if you get a lawyer, ($50k or more) to avoid punitive damages in court. This will take the edge off...
Any opinions on this: I had the slide out tailgate spec'd on my Outer Banks, but took it off to get the Sasquatch... I know I can upgrade the shocks and lift and tires later, for about the same as the Sasquatch upgrade (or more depending on quality of kit I install). So is the front locking...
I think it has something to do with the weight of the vehicle. WildTrak is SAS and you can get it, OBX SAS can’t get it, because OBX SAS is heavier due to the extra soundproofing…. I think but who knows
Someone on this forum was posting the production trend vs number of orders and extrapolating the trend to predict when theoretically the average order would be built. Is that being updated? Anybody have a link? I couldn’t find it
The parts and materials between OBX SAS and WildTrak are the same. So before HOSS 3.0 truly the only difference was the painted beauty rings and the sand vs roast or navy OBX interior minus the painted door handles snd mirror caps.. It really didn’t have any advantage over OBX before HOSS 3.0...
