I will I am waiting on the bronco to get back from the dealer hopefully this week or next. Its been there about a month waiting on CVs and a new rack. Hoping to get it all done next week and take it with me to EJS.
Also if you have a Bronco Raptor don't break your rack ford doesn't have any.
74 weld rack showed up today for the Braptor! I can not wait to get this beast in. Hoping to have the bronco back from the dealer next week and will post install pics. I should not be breaking anymore racks now!!!!!!!
Hells with snow is a different animal. Also there is more to hells revenge than just normal trail, Escalator and mickies hot tub, the steep ledges as you're going up to the hot tubs. You can take a bronco sport through there if you drive the easy lines and don't do any of the hard obstacles.
Its not Moab rated. Doing a climb on Hells revenge in Moab and both CVs popped 2 seconds apart. It was a climb I have done 100 times in many different Jeeps and never have I had an issue. I was in disbelief when it happened, did that really just happen.
I wouldn't hold your breath even if the KO3 are released 39s will be a long ways out. They are made in different plants and bfg is slow on those just like their 42" KO2s.
I would just run the 39" KM3 or switch to the Nitto 38" ridge grappler basically same size height wise as the BFG 39" KO2. Also Falken makes a 38" X 13.50 X 17 wildpeak RT again basically same height as BFG KO2.
Yes portals will make it extremally wide and will drastically change the suspension they will need to change out spring rates that will be a lot of leverage on the IFS. Its not like throwing portals on a straight axle.
1. I did not remove them before powder coating. I checked them while installing and they were all seated and none sticking above the wheel.
2. I have never had issues with a socket not fitting. I am assuming that if he in the video had issues with socket not fitting he was using an impact...
I did not have those issues. I only had issues with bead and had to use a lot more soapy water to get the bead to move flat and ring to seat. Which is normal sometimes. This is my third set of desert grenades.
