    Assumption wrong unless you brought a rock in with you to smash your way into the locked glove box or center console. How hard is it to understand with no FOB, no cell coverage, and keypad not working you aren't going anywhere? :wink: Tom

    Again, no - that won't work as the vehicle also HAS to HAVE cell service for the app to do anything. It's a two way cell communication requirement. "The vehicle's confirmation, depends on a constant connection between your phone, the FordPass servers, and your vehicle's FordPass Connect modem."...

    I guess my question was about battery state and tender operation then. I thought battery state was determined by measuring battery voltage and a tender didn't care whether the amp flow was in or out ... Tom
