Seems contradictory and I'll take your word for it. My BMW dealer (with insurance license) did match an internet rate. I'd have no problem purchasing the cheapest either way.

I don't know where you got that.
"Service Warranty rates are not filed with nor approved by the Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR). According to Section 634.414, Florida Statutes, each service agreement sold in this state must be accompanied by a written disclosure to the consumer...
That's because the dealership has a license to sell them in Florida; anyone on the internet is welcome to get a Florida license to sell extended warranties over the internet.
"Extended warranties can be sold over the internet in Florida, but they are subject to specific consumer protection laws...
Further Clarification: Extended Warranties ARE legal in Florida; it's the sale of the warranty that has specific seller legal requirements..
While extended warranties are not technically insurance, Florida law applies specific rules to the companies that sell them. A company that offers or...
I think the OP is trying to find out if if has become more than a cosmetic problem for anyone "living with cracks". So far I haven't seen any cases that reach the rag top requiring duct tape solution point.

... or find one on another dealer's lot. I had no problem finding plenty of 2 Dr, on lot within 100 miles, and bought my 2025 2 Dr from a dealer 15 miles from my house 3 weeks ago. Currently Autotrader lists 8 (3 Stroppe Edition) within 50 miles.

Really disappointing service - but not surprising. Service Manager or dealership owner should refund entire $950 or at least that amount in service...
Stupid reply. Everyone knows that.
I think everyone is certainly entitled to make their own informed decisions. Everyone doesn’t know their state's vehicle code or expect the $136 ticket.. That's why Officer Friendly is asking: "do you know why I stopped you?" When he already...
That setup could get a ticket in California, believe it or not.
:California Code, Vehicle Code - VEH § 27600.
No person shall operate any motor vehicle having three or more wheels, any trailer, or semitrailer unless equipped with fenders, covers, or devices, including flaps or splash aprons, or...
2025-26 changed freqs for FOBs and TPMS.
Near as I can tell the Fob is pretty unobtainable with Ford Prt number R2DZ 15K601-C but Keyless Entry Remote Fob 164-R8411 should work.
Tom
I'm having trouble ordering the fob from oem ford. Asking for M2DZ 15K601-C, and they say it is R2DZ 15K601-C. I can't even find the R2DZ, are they the same or mis-typing?

Talk about misinterpreting a post; I reacted only to the lament with sarcasm. No problem with anyone expecting either more or less damage and am simply happy there was little or no injury. :)
I still don't understand the: " Yet another thread full of empty well wishes" lament receiving...
