I'm a 2Dr First Edition owner. Mine has been totally solid and I love it more than any other vehicle I've owned, but yes, make sure that VIN's recall notices have been satisfied. Also, check the hard top for issues.

Only 940 2-door First Editions ever produced. Lightning Blue was an exclusive color to the First Edition. Even if the Lightning Blue take rate was 30% of all colors available to FE (I believe there were 5), that's still less than 300 hundred LB 2 door Broncos ever made.

I leave my door ajar like that far too often in order to avoid the double honk. One of these days I’ll get around to using the ForScan.

It tapers off around 10k miles. I have 30k on mine and it's extremely rare to hear a rock hit my Rock Sliders anymore.

I have had a pretty good experience with the stock Goodyear MTs. Not a big off-roader, but they are really good on slick surfaces. They do chuck rocks like a mofo for about the first 10k miles.

Try to keep them at 35. Cold has them running 31-32. Not terribly concerned about it.

Mine is drivers side rear, where the very top piece hangs over the backseat window.
