I was just getting ready to call it a night when you posted yours popped... wait a minute that is after ours so I go fire up the checker thing one more time.
*touch drive at least for BII's and Rangers started out on the roof console above the rear mirror in '86.
Not really sure when fullsizes got it but I think it was later on.
Used the same crappy shift motor for years too...
Without much seat time in a new Bronco I kind of agree, I would rather...
In general now is not a fun time for dealers.
I work at a CDJR dealer, pretty much all we can get for new inventory is sold when it is ordered.
I am in parts, getting parts is a nightmare too.
I started cleaning out my wife's car to send it down the road yesterday.
As soon as we get an indication the Bronco is actually built... the signs go up.
I am just sitting here absorbing ideas until ours comes along...
Hey, necessity is the mother of invention, you win some/lose some.
I was planning on make my own when I got a bronco in hand to design off of if nothing better came along... for $20 or whatever nevermind.
What is there to mount...
Amazon special works for me:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001IQ2GSO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have the Tusk clamp mount for it too.
I will be getting the same for my wife's Bronco.
I have had friends with multipart poles and they have had problems with them...
In college I had to crawl in thru the hatch (only door thast would open) , and while laying across the rear seat/front console push the clutch down with one hand while I turned the key with the other. That was a 1990 Eclipse.
Doors freezing shut isn't new, happens to me a couple times a year...
Are the loops removable?
I was going to go with a shackle license plate mount for our BD's modular bumper but we switched bumpers and seeing the capable bumper had recovery points i kinda forgot about the plate thing.
Now that we are getting down to the wire and looking at pics the mounting...
It took them how long to design the first ones and they redesigned them in a couple weeks?
I didn't really have high hopes the "fix" would really be THE fix.
