  1. Al Piemonte (Chicago) - Dealer Requiring 10K (22%) Over MSRP

I would also file a complaint with the better business bureau!
  2. Any OBX guys switching over to Badlands due to interior / MIC top?

I can’t say I loved the OBX roast/onyx interior but it grew on me. I could not justify the additional cost of the badlands for a daily driver. The ride will be smoother and I plan on buying a modular hardtop when available. My maxed out OBX was still 5000 cheaper.
  3. List of things Ford Needs to Fix While working on the MIC HardTops

The launch for a much desired vehicle was a marketing plum. Create excitement, limit numbers ,restrict dealers before the public - all created a “got to have” mentality. The one thing Ford could have done that would be a win/ win for Ford and it’s Bronco buyers is mandate the MSRP as the...
  4. My personal new thinking with the long delay...

The price of those two cars , plus the garage looks like the price of my divorce settlement. Lol. Great looking cars!
  5. My personal new thinking with the long delay...

Sounds like sound planning to me. You will save on gas and putting miles on- however the offset will be the insurance costs.
  6. Who’s waiting for a MOD top?

The bronco modular top may face a similar fate as the mic top. And there is no guarantee it will be available in 2023. I’ll get the mic and then fork over the money for a modular when available.
  7. ADV Fiberglass making Bronco hoods, flares, SQUARE fenders, and HARDTOPs

If they could make a good paintable hardtop to match OEM , they would sell many.
  8. Livestream to discuss tops at 5:00 Eastern today!

When will the new hardtop provider begin production and exactly what will they be manufacturing?
  9. If I order next week, any hopes of getting the car in the first half of 2022?

I am a second day reservation- OB, lux, leather,2.7, tow package and I don’t even think I will get mine in the first half of 2022!
  10. Top Management Disconnected From Consumers

What you say is true- but you have have two choices. You can cancel your bronco order or any other order on a Ford product or just realize that it is business and wait for your bronco. I hate to express the bad news but any corporations first obligation is to its owners- the shareholders.
  11. So honest question

A great interest rate would be of value to most buyers.
  12. Dealer has mannequin won't let people test drive it...

I stopped by a dealer the other day to look at their display bronco. I spoke to the sales manager for about an hour. She knew I had ordered mine elsewhere but was more than polite and helpful. We both shared a love of the new bronco. The display was not allowed to be driven but another display...
  13. Here starts the dealer games

I’d make a scene until they had to call the police and then get arrested for trespassing. Once arrested call the local news about the story on how the dealer screwed you. That will get the dealers attention. Or just make a big sign- “ This dealer will screw you” and stand on the road outside...
  14. Toyota publishes "All you need to know" 4Runner vs Bronco comparison video

If they redesign the old land cruiser like Ford did to the Bronco- they would have a serious contender.
  15. Would you accept a newly designed modular top if the windows were not removable?

I thought it was but apparently was mistaken. But I ask why a Ford couldn’t design it to be metal and produce it themselves?
  16. Would you accept a newly designed modular top if the windows were not removable?

A modular top to me is one that allows you to remove one or more panels. Being able to remove the roof panels makes it “ modular” originally the Bronco modular top was going to also have removable windows ( and still will if the current design e er gets built.
