  1. Last minute color change

If they schedule me in Silver this week I will take it, LOL.
  2. Last minute color change

After Moab we decided to change are order color from Iconic Silver to Oxford white. I got another confirmation from Ford today on my build but still not scheduled. They might be looking at it is my thinking. Email the dealer to change my order from Silver to White. Who has done this and how...
  3. Bronco off-road review after 10 hours in Moab

Had a great time. Compared to a Jeep they all ride good. I don't care if it hanging a tire if I am all lock up it doesn't really matter. Not getting beat up anywhere near what you do in a Jeep modded unless its a crazy 100k build.
  4. Bronco off-road review after 10 hours in Moab

Yes I meant 4/5 out of 10 according to the guide. There are plenty of 5 obstacles but they are spread out and you can take easier lines if you want. Good test for a stock rig.
  5. Bronco off-road review after 10 hours in Moab

I hate that whole foam and beats on the truck program. MI doesn't surprise me but I get having a consistent mounting point. I spotter if your going to launch is lot better
  6. What’s after Moab?

Moab and NV are major commitments to operation and land. They will not be leaving any time soon. 3 year contract. Same people that run the Raptor program. That started with a 3 year contract too. They are on year 8 and going strong. Introducing newbies to off-roading with a factory rig ready to...
  7. Bronco off-road review after 10 hours in Moab

Good point on the cameras. Getting base so I will not have them. I think I am going to change colors now to white. Saw a Silver 2 Door last night and not as excited about it now. Wife wanted white, she wins again. Then again she is very good with color and design.
  8. Ford E-Mail this morning

Saw a Ford email in the in-box a few minutes ago. I was totally excited. Opened it up. It is another confirmation that Ford has accepted my order. WTF? You sent that weeks ago after I placed the order and you confirmed and then when the dealer accepted it! I am waiting scheduling for the last 2...
  9. Bronco off-road review after 10 hours in Moab

I need a rear tire flag mount for the dunes. Let it beat on the tire.
  10. Bronco off-road review after 10 hours in Moab

I have driven 3 Bronco's recently. 4 door BL soft top 2.7 Auto SAS in Scottsdale. Strongest pulling of the rigs. So much so I am wonder if that Mannequin was running a tune! Next was a 2 Door Hard top OBX 2.7 SAS last night. Didn't pull as hard as the 4 door but still good. Had rattles from the...
  11. Baja Designs A-Pillar Light Kit Giveaway!

Pick Me- I will order order some bumper lights too- I have Bronco fever bad since doing Off Roadeo Moab last week.
  12. Manual Transmission on the 6 cylinder engine

After doing Moab and running the V6 pretty hard I can see the lure of a v8 and a stick. The motor makes power but not in a way a thumping V-8 does. You can't really manually shift it either. I tried. Motor doesn't like it and you are often in too tall of a gear. Put it in Auto and drive it. It...
  13. Bronco Front Lockers

Front and Rear in my opinion if you want to challenge the rig and not destroy it. Yes rear only or no lockers can get through but it requires more momentum, which = speed. More speed = more broken or bent parts. At OFF-Roadeo in Moab last week we were in 4wd L almost all day and were encouraged...
  14. AZ (and southwest) Site Sponsor - Doetsch Off-Road

At Moab BL on 33's was dragging and rubbing. SAS makes a big difference. 2" makes a huge difference. With rocks a 1/4 hurts. 1/2 might stop you. 1" will stop you
  15. Moab Mud hole

One guys does all the rigs. The white Bronco wasn't too bad. There was tippage all around for fun had by all. Only 2 rigs went through mud hole. Lots of watchers. We couldn't leave without selling a few Bronco's after the recovery.
  16. Bronco Off-Roadeo Photo Competition

Moab Mud hole. Who's having fun.
  17. Moab Mud hole

So after the BL got pulled out Nick was up next in the OBX SAS with his wife Sam riding shot gun. Being from MI he knew mud holes. He hit it about 25 mph. SAS ripped right through it. The bow wave is over 3 ft high. He is moving some water. You can see there smiles as they exited the pit. Wife...
  18. First Bronco stuck requiring recovery

First off let me say what an great experience Off Roadeo Moab was. Even if you have done this at another location I would go again to Moab. Other locations are a built courses to show off the Bronco features. MOAB is a natural trail open to the public. They do maintain several locations to show...
  19. Bronco Front Lockers

Just back from Off Roadeo in Moab. So I had 17" rubi set up 35's etc. Front lockers were used for just tough obstacles in a straight line. You could barely turn the rig with the front locker engaged. In the Bronco it not the case. I forgot to turn off the front locker or hit it twice by mistake...
  20. Moab mud

Its on the way to the large sand hill. Large groups don't make it back there normally. Not enough time. With just 3 rigs we covered a lot of ground following the guide in the BL.
