It's not just the track that appears wider. It's the actual body. Distance between headlights, etc.
Most likely it's just because the Squatch is pulled a bit forward. Hard to imagine any other explanation. Just a strange perspective. Makes it look even bigger compared to the others than it is.
The second image (from the hotel room) is harder to measure accurately. At least with the tape measure that I have on hand. :ROFLMAO: The distance between the headlights seems to be decreasing at a close to even rate from left to right. But it might not if I broke out a micrometer.
The first...
There is something funky with the perspective on that first image. The Bronco on the right is at an angle yet if you measure the distance to the outside of the headlights it is wider than the one in the middle that is directly towards the camera. When you angle a 3d object in a 2d image you...
I didn't say that the two door will outsell the four door. My guess is that the two door Bronco will be a bigger share of sales for Bronco than the two door is for Wrangler.
Just to be a bit more clear, I don't think 2 will outsell 4. I do think it will be a bigger percentage of sales than the 2 door is in the Wrangler world. It's just a lot better looking.
The two door Bronco looks so much better than a two door Wrangler that I would bet it gets a bigger percentage of Bronco sales.
I am getting a four door Bronco cause I need the space but I very seriously considered a two door. It never even crossed my mind with my Wrangler.
The other time it comes in handy is if you get rained in. The doors on my Wrangler are off most of the time here in Florida. I need the floor drains to empty it out once in a while.
One potential problem is that the leather may come with the technology option. Would be a shame if you wanted the technology but not the leather and can't order it that way. Check the last sentence of the Badlands description.
That top and interior almost look more gray to me than white. Will be interesting to see if it's available on the final version. Hopefully this doesn't turn into one of those things that people whine about false advertising. :ROFLMAO:
I am one of the Jeep defectors. My JKU is an auto (as are the vast majority of them). I think that Bronco sales would cut into jeep sales even if Ford didn't offer any manual transmission. It's a small part of the market.
Better buy? I have to disagree with that from the cost perspective. The...
I am gonna guess that not all 3500 were allocated to reservations. I was talking to a dealer that has two allocations. They are not reservations according to the rep, but allocations.
I appreciate a lot of things about a Tacoma, but Toyota cockpits are too small for me.
The Defender is boring. I was very interested to see how it would turn out since I really like the old ones. I was disappointed. It looks too much like an average SUV to get my attention.
I drive a JKU...
