  1. Area 51 thread

    Reminds me of this:
  2. Names and faces

I love the lines on the 74s. Great looking cars. My 76 was a hand me down from my dad. He raced it in SCCA showroom stock class.
  3. Area 51 thread

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like a quality wrap can cost thousands though. And they are good for about 5 years. Not sure it's worth it.
  4. Names and faces

It was my stepmother's car. I had a 1976 Capri 2 Black Cat. Got to use the fancy car for prom.

  6. Names and faces

With my future wife in 1982 at senior prom and with the family "a few" years later.
  7. 4 Door Owners Soft or Hard Top?

Hard top. With the doors off most of the time. Sun protection in Florida but still wide open.
  8. Rear vents for A/C Air Conditioning in 4 Door Bronco Are Located Under Front Seats

I'm gonna go out on a limb here. If I had to bet one way or the other I would bet that it has them. While it's not a big deal to me I can understand how it could be to others. Starting from a clean slate as they did it's hard to imagine that they wouldn't put in rear vents.
  9. Rear vents for A/C Air Conditioning in 4 Door Bronco Are Located Under Front Seats

I may be in the minority here but I don't think it's really all that big of a deal for most situations. I've been driving a Wrangler 4 door in the Florida summers with no rear a/c for five years. If I have someone in the back I point the middle vents in the dash straight back between the front...
  10. Beadlock wheels questions

Exactly. I would expect the Ford offered beadlocks to be DOT certified.
  11. [Latest Update: See Post #335] Ford Revises Bronco Reservation FAQ -- You Now Can Only Change Your Dealer At Time Of Final Order.

I wouldn't go cancelling reservations just yet. We may still be able to switch dealers at order time. If not, then this will certainly be a very bad first experience buying a Ford for me. Makes you wonder if the Tesla approach of not having dealers will prove to be the better business model.
  12. [Latest Update: See Post #335] Ford Revises Bronco Reservation FAQ -- You Now Can Only Change Your Dealer At Time Of Final Order.

So those of us with FE reservations are screwed. Totally at the mercy of ADM hungry slime balls?
  13. So we stealing the wave or...

I am so used to doing the Jeep wave that I have done it from my wife's car many times. I even waved at a Jeep from my bicycle the other day! I am sure I will wave at some out of habit from my Bronco.
  14. Lockable Storage?

I put one of these in the Wrangler. https://www.quadratec.com/products/14036_00XX_PG.htm
  15. What do all of us future Bronco owners do for a living?

We are on the mainland. Couldn't get 20k square feet of industrial zoned building on the key! :ROFLMAO: We are primarily a distribution company but do have a cool tasting room on the north side of Sarasota. You can get our rums in Ohio now!
  16. First Edition Bronco bumped up to 7,000 production limit!

Maybe they oversold and maybe they offered the extra 3500 to dealers. Could be either. They had to be getting a lot of pushback from dealers. Especially if we are allowed to switch dealers. Could even be tied to selling a reserved one. You get an extra allocation for an FE is you sell a reserved...
  17. First Edition Bronco bumped up to 7,000 production limit!

I bet you are right. With all of the website problems they took too many reservations.
  18. First Edition Bronco bumped up to 7,000 production limit!

So how did they allocate the additional 3500?
