  1. Backcountry Trails in Colorado

Imogene was a beautiful trail. Usually done along with Black Bear in the other direction. Black Bear can only be taken towards Telluride not the other direction. If you don't choose to come back over a pass the highway route is a couple of hours I think. Both have some shelf roads that can be...
  2. Backcountry Trails in Colorado

There are a ton of resources out there. I used this site a starting point for the trails we were going to do in Colorado. https://www.jeeptheusa.com/colorado-jeep-trails.html
  3. Backcountry Trails in Colorado

Haven't done a lot in Colorado but we just came back from the San Juans and up in Breckenridge. The San Juans are freaking amazing. Definitely put some of those trials on your list.
  4. Anyone planning on 2” factory lift kit from Ford Performance Parts for their Bronco?

I think there is a good chance that there will be one available by the time we start taking delivery. Not factory installed of course. If so, I will definitely be getting one.
  5. The 2021 Bronco almost had a fold down windshield

I edited my post above to add a comment about being second in line on a dusty trail. Seems you might not want the windshield down in that case. But then again, I'm not an engineer and haven't seen it in person.
  6. The 2021 Bronco almost had a fold down windshield

I've off-roaded in a convertible. Never thought of this though. Interesting take. Thanks. Might feel differently if you are second in line on the dusty road though...
  7. The 2021 Bronco almost had a fold down windshield

I remember when there was talk that the latest model (JL) Wrangler might not get a fold down windshield. People went crazy! You would have 1000 people screaming but in reality only 1 or 2 had ever put their windshield down.
  8. The 2021 Bronco almost had a fold down windshield

I have my doors off all the time. I've never once put the windshield down. I can see the attraction in a few very limited cases. Maybe on a slow trail with beautiful views or something like that. I've just never found it worth the effort personally. Add in that you need a flat windshield to do...
  9. The 2021 Bronco almost had a fold down windshield

Interesting. I bet the Bronco windshield doesn't get cracked as easily as the Wrangler's. I'm on my third or fourth windshield now. Roadtrips are bad for Wrangler windshields.
  10. Big Bend National Park

    Just answered one post above.
  11. Big Bend National Park

We were on a long road trip and had the Jeep completely loaded down with stuff. We stopped by the Rio Grande to watch the sunset. Border Patrol thought we looked a little suspicious! Until they saw we were 50 year olds from Florida and all the stuff was clothing, etc. :ROFLMAO: The officer was...
  12. Big Bend National Park

It's actually a pretty good spot to get to know your Bronco. The trails are easy. There is only one minor obstacle in the whole place. You probably already know this but it is the desert so bring a ton of extra water. Let someone know your plans and when you will check in with them. You won't...
  13. Big Bend National Park

Not from Texas, but we were there a while back. We plan on going again. Maybe we will join the Texas group on a trip to Big Bend. Here are a couple of low quality vids from our trip for those that haven't been yet. And a few pics.
  14. Photoshop request - Sage green 4 door with black jambs and painted top.

That looks great! Good way to get the white top on a cool color.
  15. Photoshop request - Sage green 4 door with black jambs and painted top.

From what I have read in other posts and on the web it can vary quite a bit. I think a quality job will probably fall from $2500 to nearly $4000. I saw one person saying that a wrap was $3500 without doing the door jambs and another $3500 to do the door jambs! That's why I want to see it with...
  16. Photoshop request - Sage green 4 door with black jambs and painted top.

Probably should have put it in the title as well. Hopefully someone with skills picks it up. I think it will be perfect.
  17. Photoshop request - Sage green 4 door with black jambs and painted top.

Thanks. I did put "black seats" as the last item in the list. Wouldn't be the same with a white interior! :ROFLMAO:
  18. Photoshop request - Sage green 4 door with black jambs and painted top.

I know it's a lot to ask but I hope someone with the talent will mock this up: 4 door BL Squatch purchased in Black Wrapped in the same matte or satin sheen green in the image below Doors off so you see the contrast of the black paint on the door jambs and the wrap (because it's hard to wrap...
  19. Will the Bronco be your toy? if so share a picture of your daily driver

Driven most often. Bought this one for my wife. We use it for some road trips as well as locally if it's raining too hard and the Jeep has the doors off. Here is the Panamera on a cool one way road in Death Valley. Sometimes it's a toy also. The Bronco will replace the Jeep which is...
