That may have been a little further down the switchbacks than I thought at first view. Looks like the guy filming wasn't on the first switchback. Maybe the third? That Jeep may have tumbled further than I first thought.
The place they went off is probably about 3 1/2 or 4 minutes into the vid we took of the trail last month. You can see it is very narrow but no reason to go over the edge. Maybe mechanical? Not paying attention?
Gotta be careful on these shelf roads. Just did this pass last month. Scary stuff.

We had to back up for a box truck on Imogene pass last month!! The entrance to Imogene starts like a normal street in Telluride. I think the guy just missed his delivery destination or something. He managed to find a turn around not too far up the trail. We stopped and laughed with some ATVers...
We had ruled out the tab 400 at one point because the hitch weight was too much for the Jeep. In 2021 (I think) they moved the axle forward three inches and reduced the hitch weight considerably. Down to 328 or so depending on the model dry weight. I think that will work.

The renters were great. They normally tow with a 3" lifted Wrangler on 35s - just like our Jeep! Made it easy...
