My base Squatch was well worth the wait. I would do it all over again if I had to. Made $500 a month payments to myself for 2 years. 12k down and only financed 27k. I don't think there are many new vehicles out there less than 27k. Buy it, drive it, keep it or sell it. You will love driving it.
If you need more height for a different antenna combination, just rotate bracket 180 degrees and you get another 2 inches in height either way. You could even move it to top hinge for a shorter firestik antenna. I'm not paying big money for custom brackets. You guys probably have a jar with this...
Used this setup on lower door hinge with longer bolt, there is a lug nut from a golf cart painted black to center bracket. It has a conical seat which mated with hinge perfectly. Ground plane intact with only 0.8 ohms of resistance to negative battery terminal. 1.4 SWR reading.
I got my 2022 2dr Squatch a few weeks ago, 2nd day reservation holder, reordered in 10/21 for 2022. I love this thing, well worth the wait. Sales Manager told me I should order a 2023 Raptor and he'd give me 10k to walk away when it comes in. I'm afraid I'd fall in love with it. Besides, not...
There are only 2 pieces I can think of at the top rear edges of front windows on 2dr that would pose an issue. I will attempt to just peel these back slightly when I switch back to hard top for winter if I even switch back. Mine is parked in garage and I have a truck if the weather was blizzard...
I have 500 miles on 2dr base Squatch, I have also had the cold start exhaust rattle since new. It sounds like a loose heat shield, but I can't seem to pinpoint it. After vehicle warms up about 5 minutes the noise is gone. It is consistent every time engine is started cold. Hoping Ford comes out...
The full top comes with ppf for the side rails, I added foam to the underside of both rear roll bar mounting brackets, also bought different mounting bolts, 8mm 1.25 and 6mm 1.25 because the torx bolts suck.
