There are many situations and recovery setups where you canāt connect directly to the factory recovery point. Factory recovery points are castings (and the ones on aftermarket steel bumpers are usually cut from steel plate meaning they have sharp edges) which make a soft shackle unsafe.

The roll bar does not 'bolt on'. It's welded to the rest of the frame. BDS made theirs happen after many hours with a grinder.
