The B&P is not accurate and does not matter. The rock rails have always been standard, and the order guide lists them as standard on the BD, not as an option.
I would not equate what some one "who works at Ford" says with an official Ford statement. Just like dealers and people all over this forum have been doing, they can easily read " the following items are expected to be in high demand and MAY cause delayed delivery," and then keep telling...
A number of accessories, especially late availability items aren't in the order system yet. It may be a few weeks or months. You can add them anytime up to when your VIN is created.
There are a number of videos showing the 2 door racing through the desert at or near highway speeds. A Baja driver said it was the best riding stock vehicle he had ever driven in the desert. I'm sure it will be just fine on the highway.
But if your reservation is before July 17th, no, it will...
Only factory installed accessories that may be in limited supply can cause a delay. Dealer installed accessories that may be of limited or delayed supply will not cause a delay of build or delivery. you will just return to the dealer to get them when they arrive.
If you don't want to jump right into switching dealers try talking to the manager. My first contact at my dealer was uniformed an unenthusiastic. I talked to the manager and got a different salesman who has been fairly on top of things.
No. The next Ford email is not due until February (see link below). Your dealer is supposed to reach out to you, but you can take the initiative.

Thanks, I've read them all over the months and understand all the possible differences, however slight they may be. I'm just looking for the the definitive, "actual" differences.
I know the differences are subtle, and what they possibly are. I was just hoping for the the specifics. Not really expecting the facts, but I'm trying anyway.
Someone with Twitter, or someone at the factory, or some dealer please try to get us the actual and specific differences between the badlands and sasquatch suspensions.
Thanks.
P.S.
I know we have other threads on this, but resurrecting an old thread and old theories won't get enough traction.
