I decided that I wanted to run a Warn 8274 winch for the nostalgic look. Problem is there is not any good bumper options out there.
I built front and rear bumpers. They are not finished but got them done enough for my Windrock trip back at the First of the month.
I was thinking about dimpled...
Ordered the tire carrier. Can't wait get it installed so I can hang my spare again. Since going to 40s I have been spareless. I always end up riding with Jeeps so no one has a spare with my lug pattern.
My mirror had 4 or 5 wires in a 10 pin connector.
I used 3 wires. One of the unused wires was reverse. Black wire was grounded. Two other wires were tied together and hooked to power at the aux switches. I did this so the mirror does not have power with the ignition off. So someone doesn't have...
My opinion is that the tube broke in the big hole. I was working forward and reverse to get out. I fatigued the aluminum mount.
Climbing up bank right front tire dipped while tube went upwards under load. And the inner angle exceeded its max angle. Side is broken out of inner cup.
Due to front...
Tire size:37s
Throttle: Lots
I was a off-road park and dropped into a mud hole that was deeper than I realized it was.(I hate mud). Immediately got a charging system fault(killed the alternator) and mud was coming through the doors. I had to rock back and forth with lots of throttle. I got out...
Earlier in the year I had this same idea.
I searched gentex on eBay and picked the mirror I liked the best. Tied into key switched power at the upfitter/aux switches. I used the wires from the the mirror. Ground tied to ground obviously. Then constant power and the switched power I both...
This was bouncing off the rev limiter in both forward and reverse while in 4L. Reverse is geared lower so less wheel speed. Didn't notice low power in reverse.
