Moving from a model 3 to a bronco gets me about $100 off insurance a month in california.
Rugged SUVs like the bronco aren’t likely to be speeding or have expensive collision repair.
Manufacturer plates on this example, interior noise might be one of the suggested flaws for reviewers to highlight. It's like going to an interview and saying "my biggest flaw is I work too hard", they know reviewers need to find criticisms, but manufacturers try their best to steer towards...
That math doesn't work out on things like this. Putting a minor dent (<1%) in the production backlog at the expense of an incredibly useful tool for people to experience a Bronco in person, including reservation holders is a major net negative overall. I guess it kind of works if you are one of...
Ceramic coating is awesome and graphene coating extends this idea for a slightly more durable finish. I bought clay bars ($10), turtle wax graphene ($24), and a box of microfiber towels ($8) and I was in business. The materials can easily do 2-3 cars too.
I highly recommend it, it’s like a...
Agree 100% on this. Electronic stability control alone is a big reason why we don’t hear about tons of SUV rollovers, which were a major reason the bronco went away in the first place
Reworking the bronco add decontent electronics/modern tech like turbos would be more expensive and potentially...
Hey, I love the site, I absolutely plan on getting method wheels once I see what finish matches cactus grey best. Is there any way you can add figment advice on the wheels? I’m curious about what offset I would want/need for 35” tires.
I appreciate the vehicle specific store, I found some...
I work for a competing automaker, and with that context, I am very sympathetic to Ford. They are trying to do right by their customers and introduce a highly sought-after model during a pandemic that has globally disrupted supply chains. Cars can have upwards of 40k+ individual parts that all...
There Are some advantages to solid front axle in articulation and the ease of lifting.
However , the guy in the video ironicallly spent a bunch on mods that would make his jeep less capable off road, especially with a less than optimal wheel/tire choice.
The mannequins being sent to dealers are maybe 1-2% of production, it doesn't make a real difference on when you get your bronco, but gives many times more people a chance to see one in person, and maybe confirm/cancel orders if not what they thought.
The second Ford tries this, they get sued in court for trying to short circuit dealer autonomy. Many states have strong laws protecting dealers if their franchise agreement doesn’t cover this already.
I’m always surprised OEMs don’t threaten to just franchise an online dealer in an out of the...
People like different things, I don’t see why preferring a jeep is a big deal or makes a person a shill.
The fact that the Bronco is being considered as an equal to the Wrangler on Fords first try is extremely promising.
I kind of get the aesthetic, but a PT cruiser nails it and i'm sure you can get one in a crackerjack box.
Also, I always lol when I see someone who bought $50k in mods out of a catalog trying to flex that they did it instead of just buying a $30k jeep+$50k priced car outright. I think "built...
There's no product page yet, but it's talked about in this video:
It's also shown in the pictures at the start of this thread. I'm surprised there's been so little info about it, it's a truly unique product vs. the wide variety of suspension products and wheels that will inevitably exist.
I want the soft top minimalist rack they designed. It looks perfect for what i'm trying to do without the gargantuan external racks that wranglers have available.
