Just guessing here... Ford only wants to manufacture one switch panel form factor. So everyone will have the switch position for the Disco, but it will be disabled on all but BL.

Don't confuse "hero" switches (on the dash) with "Aux" switches (which are mounted on the headliner above the rear view mirror. Disco will be a hero switch, plus other vehicle features like diff locking. Aux switches are for accessories like lights, compressor, etc.

Pre-production probably but closer to real Broncos in terms of exterior & interior finishes. Kearney Mesa Ford in San Diego is doing such an event on December 1st.

Some dealers are hosting events in early December so that potential buyers can at least see and touch the vehicles. Doubtful that test drives will be part of that scenario...
