I posted some pics on page 2 of the hard top version. the doesn't have the dips in the side rails for the soft top clearance. Its a straight rail with 11 cross bars vs the 9 of the soft top rack.
As do I, It doesn't look like its over hanging much in person.
Yeah that is a possibility it might look more odd from the side view after the cut as your still going to see under the plate as there is a spacer for those 4 last bolts.
The roll bar starts to taper in right past the cross member. If I square off the back end the corner won't poke out as it is...
Not sure I understand the first part of your post.
And there is mounting locations of all kinds of different mounts. Ypu cpuld simply just put the kayak up there and strap it down. Or buy rollers and bolt them to the rack and use rollers to put it up there.
Yep we know its Niche market for this but the niche is high with lots of people running topless all the time. And the rack can be Removed pretty quickly so removing it for the winter months or tossing the hard top back on only takes a few minutes.
No drill install, NOTE Countersinking some of the soft top bars in recommended but no drilling into the bronco it threads into the threaded holes on the cage. the bars are bolted in place and can be placed in any of the slots on the side rails.
The load rating is 100lbs Dynamic per cross bar...

Who doesn't like going topless!
We have been working on a few different rack systems for the Bronco. The Soft-Topless is my favorite, The roof rack for the person that wants a rack they can hide away when not in use. The roof rails are prefect for a rack there is not much room between the rails...
The tail gate bracket now has clearance added for the factory sasquatch wheels an tires. We also added the universal mount plate and rotopax mount to the site. the Jerry can holder as well as other mounts will be on the site shortly.
