Dorman products are great. As with any replacement part, a lot of times people do not replace the related parts along with the main part. Old related parts will put extra stress on the new part and cause premature failure regardless of the brand name.

I have had the Dorman on mine for 5 years and running, it has been great with no leaks. I also put one on my 25 f-150 on the first oil change. I have sold many of these and have never had a customer come back and complain!

This would be nice without the extra lights across the top. Why does every aftermarket grill have these?

I was in the first 10 or so on the preorder list, and all I ever got was the email about the measurements. I can find other places to spend $800 who care more about customers! Glad to hear you like them though!

My vote is Armorlite! No need for mats, cleans up easier too.

The oils changes are simple on the 2.7, as there is a hole to drain down. All you need is a drain plug like the dorman where you can just open it. I did have it on when I had the plastic bumper and it fit great.

Who ever did the lift probably took off and reused the deforming torque once single use nuts on the ball joints, or just flat out did not torque them.

I vote @Armorlite_Kail flooring! Floor mats are over rated and you have to secure them when driving doorless on the highway.

I think there is a version with windows and without.

These are just replacement windows for the OEM top. The rest of the top functions the same.

It's like a filter you can change it weekly if you want, and it will not hurt anything. You must remember though that you are throwing money at replacing something that is perfectly good with plenty of life left in it.

I have worked at one for 13+ years, managed one for almost 8, and I concur. There are very few companies that make the different brands of parts.

Wix makes the micro guard filters in the red box, the other company makes the micro guard select in the green box at O'Reilly. I've always just used the motorcraft on my 2.7, but I have looked at the micro guard and it is also made in Brazil like the motorcraft, so I'd bet they were exactly the...
